I doubt CWAK won't have been monitoring him ,from what I've seen he would be a perfect replacement for didsy, no doubt someone will shoot me down on it 😏😏
 

Still convinced that even after this there's at least one more coming in. We have money spare to look at remaining top Championship talent where their either hasn't been the anticipated interest or clubs will be accepting that they aren't getting what they may have hoped and need to clear their wages. If not, then we'll have some for January and again if no fans are still being allowed in, finances may start to pinch a few below us.

Looking at the squad, with the addition of another forward we're well placed to pick up an extra body in almost any central position so if there's a bargain to be had I think we'll be all over it.

I think he’ll keep some of budget back for Jan in case a particular position needs strengthening/injuries. Berge wasn’t a bad Jan transfer!

I can’t see CWAK pinning our hopes on scoring more goals on this lad. Wilder said no midfield additions and WB cover sorted so got to be a big striker signing either loan or perm. You can’t look at the goals scored last season and not strengthen this area and whilst I’m excited about Burke CWAK aren’t going to put their reputation and hard work on the line for a gamble.

He definitely mentioned bringing someone in from overseas, he also said he'd be bringing in 3 permanents & 2 loans.

We've done 3 permanents & 1 loan now, so it would make a lot of sense if our next signing was an overseas loan.

There's been a lot of rumblings about Leon Dajaku so it does all seem to align.

I feel that if we were about to sign Emmanuel Dennis for £20m+ there would be more media noise. Likewise Brewster.

i agree, it does all line up, however as mentioned before cant see us pinning our hopes on Dajaku, unless he is the boy wonder

I took his comment on overseas player as being in the context of overall strategy. Slightly paraphrasing, but I think it was more in the line of “we have a list that we’re working through depending on availability, if players aren’t available we move on to the next, some of those players are abroad”. So we might have a list of targets that are based abroad but that’s not to say they’re the top targets – they might be ones we go to if the ones ahead of them aren’t available.

Aside from Ramsdale, the rest of our signings have all come in as cover/competition. Personally speaking I was expecting at least a few new signings to earn a place as first team regulars pretty quickly. So from this angle, another big signing of a Ramsdale nature would make sense, but another loan seems most likely.

Any loan deal for the season is going to be a risk if we expect them to start most games

I’m not saying they have to reach Sir Bobby levels but a young lad on loan, if it’s Brewster or German lad, may likely need time

I think Dajaku would need longer than Brewster, i think Brewster could be starting within a few weeks

Zero media noise about Bogle/Lowe/Ampadu until they were in the building.

My left field tip is £17m transfer for Myron Boadu.
 

I think there will be at least one more - a striker (giving us the 5 that was talked about in wilders interview).

That said it wouldn’t surprise me if another midfielder was brought in - we are one down compared to when we bid for swift. so could still see one in that area....

And we got rid of freeman, so if an attacking midfield became available then I could see that even being a 7th to be honest. If the right option came up.

Any news on Sander? How bad is the knee injury? If he's out any extended period, we would need some reinforcements in the RCM/CM.
🤞 A striker (Boadu/Dennis/Brew) and a RCM (Buendia) coming in would be aces.
