Amazing, incredible.
Excitement, relief, exhaustion, speechlessness, awe, overwhelmed, emotional, proud...and still not quite sinking in.
Like Wilder, I refuse to get drawn on whether we are there yet, like me, he's superstitious, but he's also Blade and we've been scolded many times before in the most far fetched and seemingly impossible of circumstances.
That said, everything that this squad is achieving and providing is ultimately warranted. A hard working, together squad, with bags of character and truly UNITED. They play on the front foot and they take the game to whoever is in front of them. If ever a squad deserved a promotion, it's this one, if ever a squad would provide the biggest breath of fresh air to the billionaire circus of the Premier League, it would be this squad.
The way we perform, the style we play, on the budget we have and against the budgets of many others in the division is nothing short of miraculous, but is in no way a fluke. Wilder and Knill are geniuses and are arguably the best we have ever had. This achievement could be the best we've ever seen, in the circumstances.
One more game to go, continue to play our way, enjoy it and hold our heads high. The greatest time to be a Blade, a proud Blade.
