One at Right Wing Back

I have championed the 3CBs strategy for some time now. It works for the players we have at our disposal.

But not with Ryan One as our RWB. Confused.com !!!!!!

UTB

Would have made so much more sense to put him up front with Ings (especially as we were hoofing) and just put Seriki at wing back. Bonkers.

One was doing alright on the left of the attack too. Seriki should have been at right back, Cannon anywhere but the pitch.

Played really well when he came on tbf to the lad. I feel sorry for him getting shoved out of position every time he plays

Burrows at centre back was also really strange. One of our best attacking threats defending instead of playing nearer their goal. McCallum missing that sitter underlined the strangeness of that decision . No Seriki either?

Midfield was like a sieve all game. No pressure on the ball allowing their full backs to play simple balls behind our backline. Tanganga saved us from a battering tbh. Soumare for some unknown reason not coming on despite our only ball winner (Peck) getting booked early was really strange. The move was to hook O'Hare and do that.

Agree with every word of that.

It's like Selles doesn't actually know his players.

I thought he did ok.
The whole thing wasn't his fault, and when it came to attacking at the end he did fine. The trouble was we were constantly 2 on 2 because the poor lad isn't a wing back, McCallum was playing somewhere up on the left wing and after the subs Burrows didn't seem to know where to be.
