So following my thread re no Single Match Pass being available for the Derby match there now appears to be no Pass availabe for the WBA match......
This - just like last time - despite getting an email from SUTV encouraging me to buy a Pass.
Even worse, this isn't even a match where one has to be "overseas" to be eligible - match available to all supporters including UK per the club (as it is a midweek match and not on Sky or selected for International transmission)
I have emailed the specific email address for SUTV support and, after 3 days, don't have a response......
How much longer is this farce going to go on?
Anyone else experiencing this - remember this time the match is available to UK supporters as well

The match will be on the sky red button won’t it?
Haven’t got the sutv myself however it does sound like a massive waste of money

Yes should be on Sky Red Button but I am actually - genuinely - physically out of the UK (Australia) at the moment so not an option sadly.
WBA TV offering Single Match Pass - just as Derby site did last time.
Does the Club really want us to give the opposition 10 quid everytime?

The Derby pass turned up in the end

Very last minute though

Well that would be something but it would be kind of nice given the match will be kicking off at 06.45 my time if I could at least buy it before I went to bed! Worst case I'll buy whatever is available - SU or WBA sites - 15 mins before Kick Off.
Shouldn't have to be this way should it.........

If you’re in Australia then it might be a geographic restriction, so check if there is an efl partner in Australia, they may be showing the game down there on tv, in which case you won’t see a pass appear as it’ll be blocked in Australia. If not then it should show a pass usually within 12-24 hours

If you’ve got a vpn don’t change the location to uk as you won’t see a pass as it’s on sky.

Change your location on your vpn to somewhere like Cyprus as last time I checked they didn’t have a partnership with the efl to show games

United match not on BEIN. Premier League games on it this week:

I’m not sure that matters, they weirdly don’t have to be showing the game, but just have a partnership with the EFL. I guess because they sold the rights, had this problem a while back in Dubai

Had an email from the club the other day outlining what was on SUTV Live in February (and helpfully which are 'unsold territories' and an advert for NordVPN) which says that the WBA and Hull games are available to UK viewers, so like robbiez666 said above it'll probably come last minute. Half-season pass is still cracking value with so many games remaining.

Thanks for the pointers - all tips gratefully received and no point in me posting otherwise 😁.

But me being in Australia is not the issue - am very aware of the restriction if being shown by local partner and the match isn’t being.

(BE IN are showing Preston v Huddersfield)

As has been mentioned below by Jim 2007 the match should be available to all supporters worldwide, as per the email the club sent out this week.

The match isn’t on Sky in the U.K. (only red button which doesn’t invalidate ability for SU to stream) and hasn’t been selected for International broadcast by “Pitch” so available worldwide.

In contrast the Huddersfield March is only available in “Unsold Territories” (so the likes of Luxembourg/Albania/ Cyprus etc as you mention)

It’s simply incompetence by SU - WBA have a pass available on their website (as did Derby).

I remain the eternal optimist - aka a Blade for 59 years - so hope the pass with pop up very late as Robbies666 has mentioned it finally did for Derby. Otherwise the Baggies will get my money which is sheer stupidity!

The West Brom game has not been selected for international coverage - it is the two Sky games (Preston v Huddersfield, Blackburn v Forest) so it should be available for international SUTV viewers.

They probably bought their PC's in the same job lot from Tandy, which included their microphones and sound equipment.

Firestick 25 quid a year, all 92 teams matches shown every match sorted

Dunno why it’s showing bcfc in the link but this should take you to the page

Derby match was easily solved, I just went on the Derby DTV section of their website and bought their pass. Had to listen to Derby commentary but I got to see it.

So why dont you check out WBA TV ? https://www.wba.co.uk/video/packages

Okay you are giving the opposition £10 but you can watch it in UK and overseas.

I've found the whole sutv season pass a massive disappointment and waste of money tbh. I've only watched a handful of games due to either shows on Sky/BEIN here in Oz or ones which are available are unsociable hours. I msgd them asking if at least the on demand game could be released sooner and without showing the score but typically received no response.

I shall not be renewing next year and overall very disappointed in what could have been an excellent offering.

It's available now
Yes, woke up here in Australia to see that it was available so jumped online and purchased.
So became available about 24h before the match (unlike Derby which was much later) -if we can rely on that going forward I can live with it.
Rely / Sheffield United - two words you don't often see in the same sentance :)

Hi Melbourne - think we have messaged before.
As someone who divides his time between Melbourne and the UK (when Covid allows...) I found the best way to get round the issues you outline above is to do things on a "match by match" basis, rather than the season pass.
When I am in Oz and the match is on BEIN - no worries
If it is shown on Sky UK / selected for International Transmision (so not available except in Unsold Territories, of which Australia is not one) then I "visit" one of those countries using my trusty Nord Learjet and watch the match from there for the princely sum of 10 quid.
Cyprus, Luxembourg and Albania have all been very hospitable to me - there are other Unsold Territories as well but I haven't had the need to visit them.
Most of the time when I am in the UK I can atttend matches - I have a Season Ticket - but if I can't or can't get a ticket for an away game Albania etc is again my friend.
I have found the investment in the Nord Learjet to be well worthwhile - it also opens up other possibities when outside the UK which we won't go into here.
I shall be back in the UK just before Easter (Reading home on Good Friday :) ) - let me know if you'd like me to bring you some Hendersons back when I return to Mellbourne a few months later!

"visit" other countri

Just thought you might like see the rather pathetic response I received from my email to the "support" department for SUTV live streamig"

Only took them 3 days to say to me:

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
This content is not available in your region, this is due to broadcast restrictions.
I hope this helps answer your query.
Regards,

Only 2 things wrong with that reply really:
1. I never told them what region I was in.
2. The match is - per SUTV themselves : “Available to All Supporters – UK, Ireland and International”

Other than that they got it spot on really......
