The passion transmitted from the fans was incredible during the Championship promotion and Premiership season, I don't think was another ground that could compare back then.

The opening game against Liverpool was the same.

Well captured Neuschanstein, I remember coming out of that Arsenal match and others in that era with my ears ringing and being so hoarse with shouting and singing most of us could hardly speak afterwards. We were the 12th man and after the 1-0 arsenal match I thought we would survive but our poor / near inactivity in the transfer market was to cost us dearly.

There was none of this lets play with our mobile phone instead of watching the game stuff and generally not getting evolved, everyone was vocal and involved in that era. Our support is not what it was, vocally at least.

The noise was so loud Sky had to turn their Pitch side microphones down for fear of damaging them, they have only ever had to do that three times and two of those were at the Lane!

Where has that noise and atmosphere gone?

One of those games where you wake up in the morning and aren't sure if you lost your voice through singing or a throat infection! Our support was amazing,

Also, Arsenal support was shit. I honestly think they were the worst fans to visit during that season, noise wise.

It was taken into custody by South Yorkshire Police and is still awaiting release. We can't have that sort of thing in case it frightens the horses and little children
 
Nade, a player with immense potential but never realised it. Thanks for the Arsenal game pal, but you had everything in your locker to be a star - why weren't you?
