A little throwback to Jamal Campbell-Ryce taking the piss.

I always loved JCR. He was often the only one who bothered showing commitment to the cause during the Adkins season. Also responsible for the most scintillating bit of skill I've seen at Bramall Lane. Shame it was only in the JPT against Notts County.

Also the only United player who has publicly stated that he hates Wednesday as far as I know.

Love a player like JCR. Can be frustrating sometimes but capable of things most talented professional footballers can only dream of

Surely Billys "fuck off wednesday" video counts?
Also didn't I see one last week of Bob Booker slagging off "the pigs".
Curtis Woodhouse, Whitehouse and Gage must have had a dig at them you would have thought at some point as well.

All true, but JCR said it point-blank to Alan Biggs on a broadcast TV show!

I can't be arsed to dig it out, but my comment on the 'Suggest A Shit Show feat. Ex-Blades' thread always springs to mind where JCR is concerned.

Something about him having his own cooking show where he beats an egg, then turns around and beats it again for no reason.

I'd have liked to have seen JCR stay another season as the backburner to Duffy in that attacking central midfielder role during our promotion season. I think he could have done quite well there.

I always liked him.

JCR was the only glimmer of attacking threat we had under Cloughs painful 2nd season and in true Nigel Clough form he took issues with him too, bizarrely binning him off on-loan.

I'll always have a soft spot for JCR.

Yawn! another Nigel Clough Cup victory against an half string opponent that got us basically nowhere apart from one step from a defeat in the next round against Preston and put Jamie Murphy further into the shop window.

Well done Everyone!

I remember that bloke with the sombrero. To be honest I thought he was a good sport. At the end he got a decent round of applause from the faithful.

Happy days, no worries about money, wages, transfers. moaning negative winnies, expectations, ideas above our station etc.

Hope we can grab a first win of the season against QPR. Good luck Chris and the lads. UTB

He was unplayable that way because of his brilliance.
Every other game he was unplayable because he was shite

Likeable shite though, innit?

Us lot at the back of the Kop knew his limitations but he never got dog's abuse to my knowledge.

A great day. I was still living up north and had come to London for a NYE binge. That ended up lasting for several days. Let's put it this way, I didn't get much sleep! I went home on the train directly after the game. That JCR goal was the pick of the bunch, he was waiting to pull the trigger for what felt like hours, all the while the whole away end was screaming at him to stick it in't net. And he did.

I loved that lad in the sombrero. He didn't stop going all game. Initially the lads in the away end were jeering him, but by the end of the match he was getting "EEZA BLADE AN EEZA BLADE" status. The rest of QPR's fans were miserable. My favourite moment from him was when we were 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go, and he kept shouting "3-2, 3-2!" Legend. Didn't see him there last season, hopefully he's back today.

He was there last season as Greenwich was sat behind me and he was letting Mr Sombrero know what he thought of him. He always sits in the same seat. I won't see him today as I'm on the lower tier furthest away. Fine margins between banter and abuse. He's always taken it pretty well to be fair to him.

Cotterill and JCR, two of the most frustrating players we've had in the last decade.

I've read recently about Freeman, Baldock and Stevens end product not being that great. Those three have been fantastic in comparison, the strikers can generally work off them
