He hasn't got his hgv license to deliver beer to "ball sup Phil"
Shoes off in carpark tomorrow, me reckons

He shouldn’t have any problems coming from greece. I just came back and theres no restrictions other than a day two test you need to take. Unless he’s not vaccinated
Has to have been vaccinated in UK. If not, or not vaccinated, has to isolate for 10 days but can attend training and play in matches. So long as the EFL is regarded as an elite sports event.

25-man senior squad of which we have listed only 22 players, leaving room to register Olsen. if you couldn't register players after the deadline then how would you sign free agents like we might do with Guedioura and West Brom did with Bryan. If Olsen is ineligible for Peterborough due to Covid guidelines then that is really annoying.
I am, of course, offering a prize to anyone who can explain why United would CHOOSE to not include Olsen in their squad as submitted to the EFL. But prefer to wait and submit his name later. It seems such an obvious thing to do after all.

Does anyone know why he’s unable to play?

‘We have not had the opportunity to start working with Robin - new rules, covid, Brexit I cannot give you answer if I can use him immediately’

Quite a few reasons there, but none seem to make sense? This worries me if we’re relying on Wes over a vital period of games
Could it be because he was signed during an international break and was on international duty?

What I mean is if he had been in the country and training, followed the protocols etc. before going on duty, that would be different? All our other players were in the country already. 🤷‍♂️

Be honest with me Phil, is this another fuck up?
A player who we claim to have signed on deadline day is not in the published squad list, despite the fact that a kid we pinched off Grimsby yesterday is.
The EFL may have fucked the list up.
It might be surmountable.

But, why would you even ask if there's been a fuck up?

How are we even defining fuck up anymore?

When looking for fuck up, don't look beyond the fuck up you can see.

Very good point. Makes sense, I’m not sure on what the rules are for citizens living in Italy coming here presume it’s whether he’s vaccinated etc & the countries he’s visited during international break

Who knows!? It’s certainly never quiet at BDTBL 😂

While you're here, can I ask you NOT to vote for the Blog www.ball-sup.blogspot.com nor the Carrier Bag Firm in any Content Provider Awards. These exclusive exposés we keep spewing out are just too easy...

Don't get this at all. Assuming we have legitimately signed him, why court controversy and potential issues by leaving him off the squad list? Particularly as another deadline day signing is actually on there (as is Coulibaly I notice). Whether or not he can play on Saturday is immaterial - get him on the squad list!
If this is an administrative cock-up then heads need to roll because this is basic stuff.

Can’t obviously read the definitions of Squad List, Players, etc but looks like we’re relying on an “exceptional circumstances” approval. Exceptional circumstances isn’t defined within the document. Unless it’s dealt with elsewhere. Only an excerpt obvs. Presumably the Rona would qualify as exceptional circumstances. Hopefully.

Interesting. 👀

It says if there's room and we've got his registration he can be added, so hopefully it's just that. If we haven't got his registration fully sorted for some reason then he'll not be playing til January because if we have to get special dispensation, other clubs aren't going to say "yeah go on, have a highly rated international goalkeeper who was preferred by a lot of Everton fans to the England number 1".

Extremely worrying and needs some kind of clarification from the club asap.

Absolutely no way he's not signed. The media team have been tweeting and releasing videos about him all week.

It’s not a question of him signing or not, it’s a question of (a) whether he’s been added to the Squad List in time for saturday’s game (appears not), and; (b) whether he’s been added to the Squad List within the Transfer Window or not and if not, does this impact on his availability until the next Transfer Window.

The issue is that he’s signed and some question marks remain about his availability due to the paperwork.

WTF is going off at the lane, it' like amateur hour
