Olivier Ntcham looking like he's gonna be a free agent this summer. Been on loan at Marseille since January from Celtic. But Marseille aren't activating their buy option, mainly because he's played very little football this year. Celtic want to get rid as they can't afford to keep paying his reported £14k a week wage, if they want money to spend this summer.

He's one that I'd love us to sign as a free agent. A roaming playmaker. Can play as a CAM. Can play on the sides of midfield 3. Big powerful skillful dribbler. Lacking fitness at the minute but he's only still relatively young, and as a free option this seems like a no brainer......of course we need to appoint a manager first but this is someone that Slav would probably look at if he was the manager right now.

Just looking into him and saw that Marseille signed him without consulting AVB resulting in him quitting? either way not gonna come to us, will end up at Lille or some other top 6 French club

Celtic can't afford his wage and he's hardly played this season you say? Get him in!

Newcastle United are thought to be interested in signing Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old has been on their radar for quite a while, and they tried to sign him during the January transfer window.

Ntcham moved to Marseille instead on a loan deal, and it has been a torrid spell for him.

He has a contract with Celtic until this summer and will move on as a free agent.

According to Football Insider, the Magpies are keen on signing multiple central midfielders who will add goals and creativity to the team.

Also worth noting that he only played 4 games at Marseille and they could have had him on a free and chose not too.

Ntcham could be a steal on a free sign him on a 1 year see if slav can get the best out of him if he performs great offer him a new contract if not we haven’t lost too much considering we need midfield depth anyway

The French Lunny.

Occasionally scintillating but more often than not he wanders around the pitch looking like he's trying to remember if he left gas on.
