See his name has popped on the wire again. This time as a "Gus" replacement. Hmmmm!!

I love poor journalism.

"Rhian Brewster endured another poor season in front of goal but, featuring 42 times across all competitions, his departure as a free agent at the end of June would see another important player head for the exit."

A poor season in front of goal and an important player. So which one is it?

This is almost as bad as the Stir yesterday reporting Selles confirming that there will be departures, then dropping the bomb that these are our of contract players and the loan signings returning to their parent clubs. Bet the journalist had to do some serious digging and look for valuable sources to release that corker of a story.

Looking at this lad we should be buying him anyway him hamer and a n other behind Campbell/Cannon would be a good start .

Whilst I agree with the general point re: poor journalism, I think someone can both be an important player and have a poor season.

Exaggerated example here, but if Mo Salah scored 5 goals all season for Liverpool, that could be interpreted as a "poor season" for him, and he's certainly an important player for Liverpool

Kieffer Moore ended up being extremely important to United's season. First to right the ship after capitulation 1, then to put the bow on capitulation 2
