They could work really well together both able to play both roles so to speak they’d be able to interchange which one led the line and which dropped off as both as decent ball at feet or a nuisance on the shoulder. I’d like to see it as a combination actually.

I don’t think either are good enough with their back to goal. Unless McGoldrick is playing no10 behind them, I don’t think it would work. Our only form of attack would be a punt in behind, which would be so obvious defenders would setup to counter that and nullify us completely.

I don’t know both are fairly physical. I’d just like us to keep it on the deck drive at teams and play the ball into the channels. I’m agree though in game where we actually have the ball we’re crying out for a 10 to unlock defences.

Yes really looks the part but his finishing really needs work but if he had been a good finisher he would not be here .So if we can work on that aspect of his game and improve it we could have a real gem on our hands.

if only ampadu and lundstrum put as much effort in as this lad eh alright his finishing leaves a lot to be desired but so does traore at wolves and i think he will terrorise championship defences next season

Just an observation saying it was his first Blades goal it was a very muted celebration. Did he play for Bristol Rovers once ?

I was more bothered by the muted celebrations of the whole team when Bogle scored! Only a couple went to him! I thought that spoke volumes personally

i agree, they all have theyre own cliques and i can guarentee someone like fleck or sharp wouldn't take the time out for someone like bogle or lowe

You're certainly picking up the same things I am. Bit immature of our senior pros to be carrying on like that.
Even against Palace when Zaha pushed Bogle in the face, Egan saw it for sure and didn't back him up???? I'm sure if someone did that to Sharp or Stevens it would have been abit different. I felt sorry for him tbh, 20 year old lad and his team mates didn't have his back...Pathetic

I know it's just conjecture but I honestly think we miss Deano's presence in the dressing room more than we do between the sticks.

Young lad, very confident and assured, pretty cocky, funny, strong leadership skills and up for a laugh.

There was something about him that seemed to bring the squad together a bit, same for Callum Robbo as well.

Really struggling to see what else has changed since last season, psychologically speaking, unless that Leicester interview really did rock their heads that much.

Something is clearly different, in a mental and attitudinal sense, it's quite plain to see.

Hopefully that win will give them a kick up the arse! 🤞

If that’s true then Wilder needs to stamp it out immediately. The future of the club and bouncing back up from the Championship will more depend on Lowe and Bogle. NOT Sharp and Fleck. If the latter 2 players don’t like that then they need to be shipped out for the good of the Club.

UTB !

Brilliant for Burke to get his goal. Can't believe the one that hit the post.

Considering a partnership, moving forwards, his pace is an issue. He so much quicker than Brewster, Didzy, Billy and McBurnie that they're rarely their to support him. Once the team grows in confidence and Burke begins to develop a partnership with one of the other lads (personally think Brewster is ideal) who also has the confidence to GO when he sees Burke making his run they could be devastating.

I've been avoiding the boards in recent weeks (months) as I don't want to stew in the misery. Have I missed something re: Fleck and Sharp / Old Guard and some off the field conversations / drama? I did pick up on something a couple of weeks back about Spouses sounding off again on Socials?

Don't forget Moose. I'm hoping last week was a wake up call for him. I think that Wilder was right to play him on Saturday. There is a real talent in Moose he just needs to knuckle down.

hate to say it but i think the moose will be moved on this summer im hoping that a front 3 of burke mcburnie and brewster will tear the championship apart next season

Hadn't forgotten about him, just not sure it'd be wise to play 2 players that are rapid but, technically, are questionable. One of the 2 and a technical finisher (Brewster or Billy of 4 years ago) is the way to go for me.

It’s impossible not to like Burke, he gives absolutely everything for every second that he’s on the pitch. You can’t deny that he needs a bit of composure in front of goal but he is lightening quick, fit and is clearly a dedicated professional.

Mousett is a better finisher, a similar build, with pace and if he was ever to get fit and really apply himself...................sorry, do we think Burke could be suited to the lone striker role?

I think you're mistaken or being a little mischievous. Egan, Norwood, Lundstram, Bash, Osborn and Ampadu all ran over to congratulate him.

Norwood didn't & n*bhead Fleck certainly didn't

Lads absolute top mustard be just needs a club who will believe in him and play reguarly up top

Reminds me of Jamie vardy but faster and a poorer finisher
Like the description of the Marine centre forward against Tottenham yesterday - "He's just like Harry Kane, without the ability"

Someone wanna tell Fleck that he shouldn’t be celebrating with Bogle because it doesn’t fit the new guard v old guard narrative?

Nah just look at those slumped shoulders, Bogle not even making eye contact. There's been a training ground bust-up I tell ya, Norwood looking on in horror in case it kicks off again. Mousset too lazy to even photobomb this pic from the subs bench.

Look at Burke bottom corner of picture on 21 seconds just right after the goal. Look at his attitude something definitely not right there. Surely you would be jumping for joy and he didnt celebrate his goal either.
