Don't understand the disrespect towards him. It'll take time before he's a finisher, but he's helped us create chances. Some good touches, excellent pressing too. If we're looking to try a midfield four or five I'd play him in a wide role.

He’s awful. He can’t shoot, he can’t even compose himself to shoot, and one good pass every 2 or 3 games is poor fare. He’s not a striker, and never will be.

He is yet another example of a square peg in a round hole this season: we’ve had Burke, Stevens, Jagielka and Berge all playing out of position at one time or another, which is yet another example of how bad a season Wilder is having.

He definitely gives 100%(which should be a given), has pace and closes down well but to suggest a professional footballer aged 23, plying his trade in the premier league will take time to become a finisher is frankly, ludicrous!

In fact , I put it on my wish list to Santa and he replied saying he would do his best but couldn’t make any promises, bearing in mind who he was having to deal with .

Hope Santa delivers and we get a happy christmoose (sorry, saw it on a sign outside someone's house on our daily walk).

He looks a bit like he's signed from Stocksbridge or Hallam, just given up being a brickie to go pro, fast and strong as owt but not much of a footballer, and has an unfortunate habit of falling flat on his arse when through one on one.

If he had come from non league I think we'd be thinking 'there's summat to work on there'.... But as he's actually commanded pretty high transfer fees in the past, I reckon we're more thinking 'there's summat up there'.

But, non league striker waiting for his moment at Bramall Lane against Man U...."This is your chance Jimmy. This is your chance".
Where did Vardy come from? Oh yeah Stocksbridge.

(you do know Burke didn't really play for Stocksbridge don't you. he went to the Bundesliga for £13m, then £15m, then played in La Liga. you wouldn't necessarily think so though would you. that was my point. utb)

Awful, can't shoot, can't compose himself, can't pass, square peg, but how is he different from the rest? 😆

No he's not a striker, he's not awful hes just not used to playing a striker seen as majority of last season he played RWB. Stop moaning, he's just as good as anyone else we have upfront

And that is terrifying truth.
Not really. Pace is the best attribute a striker could have and many of the best strikers in the world are the best because they are fast. Without pace, you're not as effective

Well I'm on board with this and that about says where we are that the majority of us want to see a player whose lack of goals is second only to Ramsdale, start the game. I'd put him on with Sharp as Brewster seems overawed so far, yes he had a hard run of games but let's not forget who we are playing tonight and that they will almost certainly be top 5 by the end of the season. Burke can partner Brewster against Brighton and then you can all say you knew Brewster was a great acquisition.

Only one who's played like he wants to win IMO.
In my book, that gets him place ahead of anybody else. If any other has that, and tops him on quality they get on. Otherwise he's on the team sheet.

I'd start him. Offers an out ball in the channel when we are under the inevitable cosh. Will occupy defenders more playing that out ball than just lumping it onto Maguires head. Gives the team the chance to get up the pitch a bit more.

Whilst his finishing leaves a lot to be desired I think his desire to run at pace, particularly out wide, creates space for others, and in doing so has created some decent chances for us, which we've so far tapped tentatively towards the general direction of the goal. Worth a go imo, particularly when we're likely to concede a decent amount of possession.

In fairness. He has scared the defenders this season. Gives them something to think about in the same way Mousset was last year.
Scared you must be joking
You could give him ten one on one with the keeper he wouldn’t finish one
Awful ball control a none footballer
Can run though

Setup up two chances for Baldock against West Brom as well.

Bad at football, but very exciting and can run very fast - great combination (as I was typing this he went arse over tit over some hoardings, whaddaguy)

bad a football but exciting and can run fast is better than the other 10... Which is just bad a football
