I’d completely forgotten. Worst header of a ball in football history. He jumps at random times and closes his eyes when the ball is still yards away. It’s pretty funny tbf

It's actually impeccable how bad he is. He has never headed a ball cleanly in his life. The timing is just off every single time.
It's so, so comical.

I've maintained for a long time that I actually like Burke and rate a lot of his ability though.

He's just never had a consistent run of games up front, which is still where I see all of his potential at a higher level.

The problem he has is he still doesn't know his game and hasn't been able to develop an understanding of how best to use his attributes. I genuinely think a loan move to League 1 would've been great for his development and all of the big moves at such a young age have completely hampered him as he's never been able to put a run together.

It wasn't going to happen for him here, but I wouldn't be in the "good riddance" brigade. He put in a shift every time he played for us and was one of the few exciting sparks we had in a terrible and embarrassing final season in the PL.

Good luck to him, maybe the right system for him will work. Millwall seemed to think he was ok too.

I don't want to knock the lad at all. He's clearly got some great physical attributes in his speed. And he isn't as bad as we have made out.
If he had just that bit extra quality he'd be a real danger at any level but that is what lacks.

Well done Hecky moving him on. I thought we were stuck with him for the rest of his contract. Wages saved, and absolutely no loss to the squad whatsoever.

Burke must have one hell of an agent. I wonder if he could get me into the Bundesliga too? I'm a lot slower than Oli Burke, but I can control a football and send it in the direction I want it to go (generally).

Heard he was on circa £20k basic at Utd. That's over a £1m quid saved in wages for the remainder of what we would have shelled out if he had stayed for another season. If WB have paid us a fee also (unlikely) then even better. The added bonus is that we have moved on a player who wasn't going to be a success here and who Hecky didn't want, meaning he isn't going to be hanging about the place like a huge trainer wearing smell, whilst we have just freed up a chunk of money for wages for incoming players.

I also recall Heckys comments in January about it sometimes bing about who you get out of the door rather than who you bring in. I thought then that he was mostly referring to Burke. Good bit of business to get shut by Hecky.

With the swap for Robinson and Robinsons initial transfer fee, and 2 years of wages (and quite possibly a signing on fee also) Burke has cost us a fair wedge of coin for mostly fuck all return. Thanks for that Chris 🙄

While not saying Robinson was brilliant because he wasn’t and isn’t, it was one of CWs more bizarre moves. Mind you he did like a reclamation job didn’t he
 
I think he’ll remember his time at United very fondly. Sheffield clearly had a huge impact on his personality and it’s clear from his Instagram that it played a huge part in him reinventing himself off the pitch. It should be looked on fondly that we contributed financially towards the hiring of personal stylists, shoppers and a dedicated fashion photographer.

Unrecognisable really.
