With the influx of newbies, I thought it might be an idea for you to see what you're joining by all our existing members introducing themselves.

I'm Linz, aka Norton Blade over on BUVP.

I'm a ST holder on the South Stand and a travelling Blade. I'm usually around during the day to deal with user issues both via private message on the forum and through our email address ([email protected]).

SouthEssexBlade (SEB) refers to me as Delia because I get pissed and swear at football matches.

And I do think that's all you need to know about me :D

I'm Foxy, formerly Norton Blade (The Original) on BU & VP.

Long suffering ST holder, originally on the Kop, then H-Block, now in the middle of the John Street.

If you need anything, make sure you get in touch with me or Linz and we'll do our best to sort you out. Service might be a little slower when the blades are away from home though! :)

I made the original version of this site, many, many years ago... Over the last few years it's really started to pick up and as a concequence we've met many new friends and acquaintances.

We've entered a forum team in the Mel Rees tournament the other year (and skillfully ensured we won the wooden spoon :D).

If you didn't come via the main site, make sure you check out http://www.s24su.com which is our recently re:branded main site.

I'm rachyblade and I was known as rachyblade on BU until I got banned, not posted on there for must be over 2 years.

I have a season ticket on the back of the Kop and I also travel to a few away games (finace permitting).

I've met up with a few on here a couple of times and I am hoping to meet up for with them next season.

I am known for the odd random rant so just take no notice, I usually calm down the next day.

Not much else to say but if you hear any rumours from keenzy or silverfox take no notice, one is ginger and the other is old.

I'm one of the mature sensible ones on the forum.

Been watching the Blades since the late 60's hardly missing a home match, including testimonials etc....

I've said no away matches this season but already been to a few pre season although i've refused to go to Boro.

Along with Southessexblade Dingledog, Beightonblade and a few pretenders we bring a bit of wit, wisdom, good looks and talk of piss bags!

:D:D:D

I try not to think!

And don't go in the P&T!

:eek::eek::eek:

I'm Daz, 21, season ticket holder on the Kop since I can remember, I drink in the Railway before matches and you'll see me regularly at away matches.

I'm not very noticeable though, as I'm about 2ft 5 ;)

Sensiblade (Previously Sensibladeworldofsoccer till I had to chop my name cos of it being too long for the forum software :D )

Was a season ticket holder but financial reasons means i'm not at the moment.
I get to as many games as I can afford now.

Always a Blade and I always try to find the positive in things (sometimes fail but mostly can find something positive out of every knock back we take)

I'm Greasy Chip Butty, 3rd year as a season ticket holder on the south stand, moved closer to the Kop this year though.

I'm Monty's Girl, season holder in the disabled enclourse on John St. I try to get to as many away matches as i can.

You can easily spot me at the lane, just look for the pink wheels ;)

Blimey, not sure if I count as an old member or not, but as I'm not part of the influx..

I'm snb69, from a well thought out shortening of south Notts blade and the year of my birth.

Don't get to nearly as many games as I would like, but have managed to convince 2 out of 3 daughters that they are blades, despite the pernicious influence of Forest, County, Leicester & Derby

Meatballs newbie dudes! (I'm havin lessons from the belted phallus of S6 )

Welcome to best forum around. They are all nuts, deranged or just plain freaky (avoid any Keenzy link)

SEB however is the wit, wisdom and catwalk supremo of the forum!

Awesome and totally bodacious new dudes. Enjoy! :D

I'm shorehamview, and I am bloody great, me.

I used to write for the Times Fanzine bit as the resident Blade, but got pissed off with the abuse from the Wet Spam fans upset that they got caught, the Dingles when I suggested that Morgs didn't deserve beheading, Argies moaning, and the general responsibility of not being allowed to call them all c***s.

I try not to take it too seriously, and I try to be funny on occasion. I don't always succeed, but if I find it funny then job done.

Welcome tho all the new posters. This is the best Blades forum, and quite possibly the best football forum going. I think so anyway, and I'm almost always right.

I'm MobileBlade. Posted on BU as MobileBlade. Has season ticket since 1973. Now have "pleasure" of taking parents & two kids to all matches!!

Fav moment of last season sat at Wembley and being called a part-timer by some drunken git behind me cos I had nerve to say "no" when asked if I had been to Plymouth that season following his tirade of abuse about Mike Deans sexual sessions with Richard Scudamore and me asking him to quiet it down a little bit in front of an 11 and 9 year old!

Dingledog Blade, part of the 'piss Bag' brigade, a term of endearment used by the younger ones who recognise that due to our great age we have wisdom and insight, although regulalry forget what we went upstairs for or why we are at the lane.

Had a season ticket for Donkeys years now, sit in the South Stand behind the directors box right on the halfway line. My greatest achievment has been adopting two babies and signing them up as junior blades.

Stratford? Thats just down the road from me!

Evening all, yes another straggler from BU (only an occasional poster though), been known as 814DE and Alan_8lade amongst other more unmentionable nicknames!

ST holder for 20 yrs save a 3 yr exile during the spackman/heath/early colin years, currently sit on John Street level with 18 yard line at kop end.

Hate the pigs, dirty leeds and West Ham same as everyone else !

Aloha Newbies and Welcome!

I are MAQ, and i are MAQ pretty much everwhere. Dont ever remember registering on BU but if i did i would have been MAQ

South Stand Season ticket holder and daily poster/lurker within the cyberspace

I are the voice of reason on footballing laws of the beautiful game, or at least id like to think so. :D

Blade born and bred long time attendee and sufferer.

Live locally but work in the dirty north village known as L**ds, spreading the word of the noble men of the south.

Welcome one and all

EDIT: Despite my thinking that the introduction and welcoming of new members was winning, it seems that i am loosing completely. Therefore I extend a harty WELCOME TO THE FORUM to all new members :D

I'm Ipswichblade (soon to be WorcesterBlade as we're moving to Worcester at the end of August), former South Stand season ticket holder and away traveller before moving to Ipswich in 2007.
Don't get to as many games as I would like and will be concentrating on going to some away games this coming season that are in the West Midlands/Wales area for convenience and cheapness!

Hi,

I'm Gazza1984 season ticket holder on the Kop WW- middle of the Kop, often drink in the shakespeare in Heeley before the game.

Been posting on here for a few years now

I was the original worksop blade on suisa/vp/bu - not worksop_blade_01 from BU, to save confusion. :)

I've been a season ticket holder for years, saving my paper round money for my first season ticket which was the memorable 81-82 season. I've been to loads of grounds and I used to know how many (geek alert!) but stopped counting when teams starting moving grounds. Does that make me part of the oldies section? Or just grumpy?

I've stood/sat all over the place at the Lane but currently sit on John Street, on the half way line. It's a grand view but nowhere near as entertaining as the kop was in the 80's.

RB
