Blasting £8.8m (+salary) on an unproven RWB makes even less sense than loaning him.

I can't see Wilder upgrading on Baldock or Stevens this summer to be honest and when you think Freeman hasn't been put up for sale it tells me that Baldock will remain as first choice. We need cover at left centre half and left wing back though, one player likely to do both. And we need a right-sided centre half since Cranie has been released.

Freeman for me isn’t dependable enough defensively and therefore I could see us bringing a starter in for RWB to replace Baldock and loaning Freeman out

Looks like Fulham will complete the signing of this lad which means there’s no chance of them outbidding us for Bogle given they place in the same position. Also, with Villa signing Cash for Rb, we have a free run at Bogle by the looks of it so everyone can relax, this deal will get done
