can i lay my cards on the table and be straight......i am 1000% blade ive followed my beloved team since 1978, my life has revolved around the sheff utd fixture list i.e holidays,work and even my wedding day.anyone that knows me will tell ya "eeza reyt blade"....but heres the "but" i can't stand blackwell i thnk he's a total **** sorry to offend anyone but thats how i feel

The point of a forum is all about discussions and opinions. I don't think anyone here is outright enamoured by the man which you will see when you read around but there are very good debates as to what he's done and what he could have been expected to do with the team and resources he was given.

A good thread to read would probably be THIS ONE which looks at his progress over about 12 months. I think the overriding consensus is that he shouldn't have been given the ridiculously long extension.

But we're all about debate, and as long as the debate stays civil and well argued, you'll not find anyone getting offended by your opinions

Given that we are currently one of the top teams in the Championship it would be hard to find many managers doing better. Or are you American, the winner takes all and the rest are crap? So what's bad about being in the playoffs? Or is it that your imaginary friend (sorry manager) always makes the right decisions? Don't want you getting off too easy!

i understand what your saying mate but if we were to win the champions league under blackwell i'd still feel the same. infact if the blades could play the game blackwell talks we would win the champions league unfortunatley that aint ever gonna happen though
