Cheers for all you have done for the club fella. Dodgy start to your Blades career that picked up incredibly and we all got to see the real Jamie Murphy.

If, as has been confirmed, you wanted to go, higher division, better money, international prospects etc etc. than good luck to ya. We have had good service out of you and also turned a tidy profit. Football is ruthless and ultimately, a business. You will be remembered and missed in any event.

If you were nudged, even just a tiny nudge, as has been rumoured, than it stinks to high fuckin heaven.

Thanks and all the best.

DB

Meh

He's gone

Fuck him and all who sail in him.

I can't remember a performance in a big game. He only looked half decent cos of the rest of the shit around him.

Fuck him. Che's better anyway. ;)

...

Ah, well.

All the best, Jamie.

Leave us with all the problems, why dontcha?

A player who always made me sit forward in my seat when he got the ball. Not had many players like that for many a year. Good luck Murphs.

THink he is making a big mistake personally ,he finds it difficult to settle and he couldn't be much further from his homeland. He will be out on loan later this season.

I liked reading that Foxy , till I saw him holding up that B**e & white rag , it's the same when I go to see Leinster, or the Dubs can't say come on you boys in B**e , can't sing anything praising that colour .

Good memories of Murphy and he scored some great goals . faltered towards the end of last season but in fairness he was basically our sole creative outlet. A friend of mine spoke to a coach of a league one club last season who said to beat united all you had to do was put high balls into the box and stop Jamie Murphy.

He did well for us and was well worth what we paid for him. That said he had more bad games than good throughout his united spell and this time two years ago most blades would have been happy to see the back of him. The archetypal confidence player who looked excellent when on form but a waste of space when he was on a downer

Sorry but the words "F*** off and die" came when I saw that blue and white rag. What have we come to when Brighton and effing Hove Albion represents a step up.
They are and always will be below us be patient

I know this must sound very petty, but are there any other Albion fans delighted that Sheff Utd fans are annoyed at selling Murphy to us, for no other reason than payback for when they nicked Danny Cullip of us. I hope that's ruined their season

Its great that some of you can happily wish players wish players well when they leave - me, I just get the mards on and feel bitter straight away!!! Apart from the odd one who I look at and feel they gave their 100% all for us, all of the time - think Jags etc. Can't say I feel the same about Murphy - never been a 100%er, great on his day but not much heart to dig it out for the club when backs are against the wall. Thanks for dropping us in it the day before our first home game of the season Murphy - do I wish you well at the "mighty Brighton"? Not really in fact I couldn't give a shit if you crash and burn at Championship level. Once a Blade, always a Blade?? Whatever!

He he, I'm a mardy cow...;)

If Murph plays for them like he has for us lately, might have ruined their season as well.:)
