If you know where all the grey corrugated concrete in the town centre was, that's all gone. New shopping arcade, Super Bowl, cineworld and new restaurants.

This is very true unfortunately.

I was in Sheffield a couple of weeks ago and I went through the new little square that's sort of next to the bingo. They've done a good job but it was populated by deadbeats and litter

Same everywhere mate. I do think Barnsley Council are trying hard though, and they do have some sort of vision. And, I gather that the wonderful Maison du Biere in Elsecar are opening a branch in town. And - second best pizza I've ever had, anywhere, is Evoo on Market Hill. Only beaten by my son's home made pizzas, which are amazing. Not bad for little owd Barnsley though!

Both. First half kicks off at 3 on the Saturday, second half kicks off at 12 on the Sunday. Don't throw your tickets away at half-time.

We've had games against Wednesday moved to every day and time under the sun and it's never made any difference.

Think this one is due to the fact wednesday are at home on the same day so probably something to do with resource.

However you are right. People will still get their fill of booze no matter what time they kick off. Just a minor inconvenience for everyone more than anything.

Appreciate it's a couple of months away and you might not be interested in coming, but the rumour is there will be 2,000 away tickets only for the rest of 2021. Might be a good idea to get your priority points up.

I was looking forward to a sell out South Yorkshire derby an all. It's not a derby I know but you get my point.
