Some new grounds or trips to grounds we haven't been to in a long time, cheaper tickets, a Sheffield 3 team league, a trip to the b2net stadium and finally back in the same league as the 2 clubs we got relegated with in 1994.

Thnks Mr McCabe.

Do Colchester still play at Layer Road? Do Swindon still play at the County Ground?

If not that would be their new grounds, Chesterfield, Wycombe and Yeovil all in one season. Oh, and Rotherham wherever they might be next season.

Can't we wait for the new Rotherham stadium to open in the 12/13 season as I'm a 2 or 3 minute walk from the suggested site?

Seriously though, both Sheffield clubs potentially in the third tier of English football.
a) it would be a disgusting thing to see for a city of our size, but
b) it would make for an exciting season!

Colchester have moved, don't think Swindon have.

How do you expect the players to perform if the fans are already predicting relegation. We've not even been in the bottom 3 for 24 hrs and have a game in hand!

Pretty much the same to be honest.

It's been coming for a while though Swiss. We've been lucky to stay above it for as long as we have. I appreciate the sentiment behind what you're saying but the constant string of defeats at home is becoming more and more demoralising by the week. The lane faithful gave some great backing last night, as they've done in a lot of games recently, but the players have to produce something to send us away with some hope. Hard work and endeavour is simply not enough.

Same as always, with pride, passion and a determination to make sure they are giving value for money for their salary and the privelege of doing a job that most of us would chop an arm off to do.

Are you seriously suggesting that a few threads on message boards are going to make them throw in the towel? Jesus, we're in far deeper shit than any of us thought if they are as spineless and gutless as you are making out!

You mean they're going to get worse?

Christ!

Of course not, I'm just sick and tired of how a bad run of form comes hand in hand with doom and gloom. I saw enough v Norwich to make me think that we'll stay up.

Sure we have some problems, but the side is forever changing and once it finally settles to something like what Micky sees as his best team then I think the home form will improve considerably. We may not win every home game, we may even lose a few before the end of the season, but do we have to build up every game to be pivotal to the end of our season?

We're in the shite, I get that part. We've got some players who aren't good enough, I get that. We've got others who aren't performing, I get that.

What I don't get is this suggestion that its already over when there is a long way to go

Got to agree, the supporters I think are far more tolerant than I would have ever expected. In fact, if someone had told me in August that we would be in this position, I would have thought that the atmosphere at every home game would be sheer posion.

We are the only Yorkshire team in the past 20 years that has not played in the third tier or below. I fear that is coming to an end.

That'll be 11 new grounds for me - not ticked that many off in a season since, ergh the last time we were in the Third division.

It could get very worrying if the game at the sty was to be on Boxing Day.

What would be even worse for me would be an all Sheffield play off final. That would be by far the worst game ever. Ever.
