It's was a bit of subterfuge.
J O'C doesn't go up for the corner, calls for a drink, they throw him one, he chucks it back because it's not the one he wanted, our coach guy throws it to the floor in disgust, somebody chucks Jack a new one, he takes a drink and just as the corner is about to be taken he dashes into the box, nobody marks him, goal, hello Premier League.

Loan players are like leasing a car not 'legally' yours but you 'own' it for the duration of the lease.

The million £ plus we paid in wages, plus possible loan fees, for each of these loanee's mean they are our players for the duration of the contract.

We do not 'own' the other players we have then on a contract for the duration of that term.

Unlike buying a TV which you pay for and own outright, forever.
