Found a bar in Vienna showing the game on Sunday. It's been a bit of a struggle, one place, the sports bar at The Marriott Hotel could only show the first half due to the American football being showed at the same time but the girl behind the bar there suggested Flanagans Irish pub up the road which we've checked out and is defo showing the match.
Had to correct the lad behind the bar though who thought Sheridan had been one of ours.
I still don't think he knows how happy he's made this Blade today, bring it on.

Get him onside and remind him about Alan Kelly, Quinny, Paddy Kenny and Del Geary.

Perhaps keep quiet on Billy and Keeeeeef Gillespie though.

My grandmother was Irish, so chuck that in as well if you think it will help secure the big screen.

You have 3 days to locate and pocket the TV remote.......

So you tried one place who told you what you're looking for is just up the road?
Hardly Marco f*****g Polo are we mate? ;)

It would be a 10 minute tram ride on the ring but Charlie P's on Wahringer Strasse will also be showing the game.

Mine too. We must be related and haven't known it all these years...

Enjoy mate! Great city Vienna! You should check out a traditional "Heuriger" for food and drink if you get the chance.

Three: I didn't mention my grandad...

Irish on maternal side; Sheffield collier on dad's. No wonder I turned out like this...

Your grandma and grandad are three people?

Galway grandfather, Belfast Orange family grandmother.

I'll leave someone else to do the inevitable tap in.

Not quite, I'd been trying to find somewhere convenient since Monday but when you have the wife in tow whilst also trying to see something of Vienna which was why we are in Vienna finding somewhere for Sunday is a bonus.
Also, I can't search after today as we'll be in Salzburg until Sunday morning! So never mind fucking Marco sodding Polo.
I'm happy any way.

That was next place to try as per your recommendation, but now I've found this place and Mrs SW12 knows where it is and how to get there after her afternoon sightseeing, I'm sticking with this place but thanks anyway.

Smoking Dog in Lyon for me, 2:30 KO so extra hour for nerve calming beverages, merci.

Hats off to you mate. If it had been me, I'd be lucky to get to watch the goals on iPlayer when I got back!!

Yes and I'll be watching the match whilst looking after the suitcase which contains the Imelda Marcos shoe collection and enough clothes to run a fashion show and a couple of pairs of my spare under crackers which are about the only things of mine which will fit in it!

Up the arse so you can both watch :)

Exactly and I can rest my pint on her lovely arse

Ooh now that reminds me. I can remember once doing it Labrador style with an old flame on the lounge floor in front of the TV whilst the football was on thinking "well this is good". I glanced down onto the hearth where I spotted the pint I'd poured for myself earlier before we got into the rough and tumble and thought "dare I?" So I went for it. As I supped the pint I remember thinking to myself "Does it get any better than this?"
I realised the answer to that was yes if the match on the telly was the Blades beating the filth, I had a takeaway curry resting on her arse and the Stone Roses were playing in mi front garden :D
