If the owners want to play high pressing football with a manager that will have minimal say in transfers, Rohl makes complete sense based on his previous job. He overachieved with that set of shite players so a step up with better players somewhere is probably due. I find him droll and smarmy and the pig's sycophancy based on a good (not outstanding) job to be nauseating, but I'd be being disingenuous if I said otherwise. I've been led to believe he rumours in the summer were true. It doesn't surprise me in light of the Selles appointment.
