I got back to Salford (not Manchester btw) around 11:45, I'm a very slow careful annoying driver ….yes I know. But I think we have time to reflect and realise that Thursday night was (hopefully) a one off. The Blades did everything right in the first half and found ourselves a goal down (what)?. I really had a feeling it was going to be one of those nights and it was. I didn't agree with the changes but I certainly can understand why. But lad/lasses and others lets get one thing clear that we all need to focus on is that we are Sheffield United, in the Premier League and doing pretty good! Lets just relax and enjoy the ride. Newcastle will get their cum uppance I'm pretty sure. UTB! Bobby.

We basically had done to us what we did to Everton. I'd be more concerned if we'd been outplayed but we played alright, below our usual levels but another day we win easily.

Just wasn't our day, but you lose games in the Prem, I'm sure we all took it worse than the players and they'll be well up for tomorrow and in good spirits.

What made it worse was that we knew they would sit deep and play on the break so, Wilder must have thought there wouldn't be space behind for the Moose = ideal time to give Billy and Oli a start (I thought McBurnie did OK with the service he got).
It obviously didn't work but if Basham had defended correctly for the goal then I think we would have got at least a draw.
Anyway it's done. Big game today, well, they all are really.
