seen a video on blades website and woolford and freeman were both there.

In one picture freeman's giving the photographer the cheeky V's.

Brayford is wearing No 2. Assuming this is confirmed when the actual squad numbers are announced, it will make me and I know some others on this forum very happy, and be the ultimate affirmation that CW understands the fans and knows that, sometimes, it's the little things that keep us happy. The big question remains: who will get No 9?

duffy most likely number 9 seems to be a striker/winger number

Looks to me like Che Adams has it - going off those images

could be mate if true then duffy might end up as number 7 thats also usually used for wingers

Again going off the pictures from Boxing & Preseason, i would guess at the following:

1 Long
2 Brayford
3 Hussey
6 Basham
7 McNulty
8 Scougall
9 Adams
10 Sharp
11 Done
14 Calvert-Lewin
15 Coutts
16 J Wallace
17 K Wallace
19 Woolford
21 Duffy
22 Reed
23 Whiteman

Quite a few i don't recognise

With 4 and 5 for the two first-choice centre-backs, and Duffy at No 7 rather than McNuts, that looks pretty good to me, a big improvement on last season (and I'm not just talking about the numbers).

Gladiator training this is not.

This is not going to instil fear into anyone. Can you imagine Morgs, Billy Whitehurst, Curtis and the class of 71 entertaining this? I'm also sure that punchbag is a bit lower than normal to account for our lads. I hope they had fun but I'm not sure an hours boxing class will add much to their repertoire..

Mind you it could pre Spanish holiday, sorry training camp preparation, just in case McNulty decides to get on it down the local ouzo and bozo canteen...

UTB

If they were just messing about then it won't have done them any good, if they were put through a proper boxing drill then maybe it is part of Wilders plan to get them really fit. Boxing training is very hard. I still have a big punch bag in the garage, when people see it they often laugh and ask to have a go, two minutes later they creased up, struggling to breathe. If you add in the knees and kicks, Thai or kick boxing style, you are really knackered after. As part of a training plan, it is probably the fastest way to get fit.

Mate of mine had a similar set up. Hanging bag and one of those that you fix with elastic top and bottom. The hanging bag was knackering, like you say, after about two minutes. Hitting the other one more than three times in a row was really difficult. All about timing, as you know.

Not only does it get you fit, it helps with aggression. My mate hated his boss and would come back from work and spend half an hour punching the bags pretending it was his boss. After, he'd be relaxed and chilled out.
