Depends what u mean by best? Best equipped? Yes by being a big physical side. Best footballing or exciting side no way by a long mile!! But they've built a side to get out of the division an that's what they'll achieve.Beaten by a better side. No complaints, no good/bad luck, they're just a better side. Good luck to them, by far the best team in this division, with Brentford 2nd IMO. I feared inflated expectations may creep in, Clough has always been building towards next season, and now he can with absolutely no expectation of a top 6 finish.

Fuck all to do with luck. We haven't been good enough.
Wolves have bought the best players in this division to get where they are and we are someway off that.
Not cynical? Nothing BUT cynical. It was always late and nothing to do with the ball.Yes, they were physical but not cynical.

Think there's quite a few chewing on sour grapes here. Yes, they were physical but not cynical. They commited a few fouls, but Coady & Baxter throwing themselves on the floor cheaply in good attacking areas is something I hope Clough addresses.
The team with much better attacking options won today thanks to a individual error & a deflected cross falling kindly for them. Luck? No. Just like Brayford vs. Charlton, if you're applying pressure in attacking areas then deflections/errors happen and I don't see them as lucky because of that.
Wolves were the best team i've seen in this division. Jacobs, McDonald and Clark were a brilliant on and off the ball.
Just a shame KMac the wonder horse only turned it one once every 20 games for us isn't it?
I thought the booing of McDonald was a bit unnecessary.
We have got to give Scougall the ball more often. He creates something out of nothing through the middle. The amount of times he has peeled off his marker into a few yards of space (which is all he needs) only for the person on the ball to see him and ignore him is driving me insane.
All in all, though, today wasn't too bad at all and on another day we could have won it. Wolves have rebuilt themselves very impressively.
Also, the idea that Scougall is somehow an upgrade on McDonald is a sick joke.
