Well
Having lost my old man on Monday I decided today to come to lane for the first time in a long time. Living in Liverpool is no excuse I know but thats the way things have been. After finding his brick in wall of fame I sat myself down on Row E of Kop to watch United and oh deary deary me. My old man would have been having a fit had he seen that today.
There was nothing I can write about which is a positive apart maybe from the 20000 souls who decided to come to the Lane. We looked pedestrian, lackluster, unreactive, slow, unfit, no creativity and genuinely like they didnt give a god damn about the shirt or the fans.
Kudos to Wigan - not the best side for granted but passed the ball, looked calm, wanted to attack and run at our players. I dont think really we made them panic or look troubled.
Fair to say I am deeply disappointed and gutted that my dad couldnt have a send off but hey thats Sheffield United for you.
