Not good enough Nigel

Its all a massive improvement from when Weir was in charge but Clough is polishing a turd. A terrible, stinking wet one. One that cannot be polished any more. Hence we had the brilliance of the Villa performance followed by the awfulness of the County performance. This is what being a blade is. Why was this such a surprise to people?

Everyone has an opinion on who should come and who should go. Fortunately the only one that counts is that of the Manager (I don't think we have anyone McCabe can cash in on any longer). Lets give him the chance to make the transfers and get this shit heap of a squad performing again.

My only concern is we have had a good run of form but this hasn't really garnered enough points. I don't blame Clough because he has at least steadied the ship and got us to a point where we are competitive. A lot of our fans still have the delusion we are too good to get relegated, well wakey up time is here and we are still very close to the bottom 4. A point at home stops being good enough if we carry on. It soon becomes win or bust.

People laughed a couple of seasons back when I said we could be heading to Division 4 if we weren't careful and here we are. Fortunately enough we have probably the best person as Manager to at least give us a chance. Lets be straight here that's all it is, a chance of not going down. A couple of good signings and we could stay up. As we are? I think we are sunk.

I keep telling myself we will have enough to pull clear, that with a couple of additions in the window, (we don't seem close to signing anyone...) things will click and those narrow defeats or unfortunate draws will turn into victories but the further we go and the less points we have to compete for the more it feels as though Clough is in a Mickey Adams no-win situation....I'm not comparing the two ability wise but the situation they have inherited.

It's not going to be a bed of roses on the path to 51 points

All chill

Dropping a form player in Murphy after the team performance put in against Villa was the wrong decision fo rme. If the reason was that he was tired then Clough needs to re-think his priorities.

The FA Cup is of no importance at all to us, particulary when it could be to the detriment of staying in this division, which should be the highest priority.

It's either a bit of bad management in prioritising the wrong competition or bad management in not subbing him (and Flynn) during the Villa game so they still had something in the tank for the vital fixture against relegation rivals.

4 Losses in 16 after 9 in 13, not get any better ?
If we can keep it to 4 losses in next 16 be a reasonable assumption we,d be getting close to safety

I do believe Morgan was in charge for the first few wins. You optimism is close to that of Hitler in May 1945

I never said he wasnt I put Weir and post Weir
Morgan presided over 1 win, so you believe wrong unless your adding Cloughs first win which he dedicated to Morgan
Your negative propaganda is more akin to that of Goebbels surprised youve not shown nigel and chris as rats yet
