Nostalgia?

It ain't what it used to be.....

Jean-Phillipe Javary? Hands up who actually remembers him

And who the hell is Steve Lovell?

I was thinking exactly the same and I can't see the keeper in my minds eye either ,in dear so many players and so much beer

Lovell was in loan from Pompey played five scored once last seen at Bournmouth,de vogt was ours for two years and played six ,now third choice at fc twenty

Steve Lovell is the player ,engaged to the brilliant Amy Macdonald. Must admit I'd forgotten about him ,but I was researching 'A curious thing' and i ended up with Watford v Sheff Utd 2002. All roads lead to Bramall Lane eventually.

I remember that match. Javary was my sister's favourite player for a while; she was very young at the time. He played for Barcelona once you know!!!

It's not often I agree with a comment about music on here but I'll second that emotion. Maybe she'll be visiting the Lane next season if Bournemouth don't go up?

Thought he was reasonable at the time. Remember a particularly good game where we beat Burnley at the Lane - Gazza was playing for Burnley.

I think that was the week after The Battle Of Bramall Lane, and we completely outplayed Burnley. Two very good goals from Jagielka (were they his first for the club?) and a cracker from D'Jaffo.
