Norwood

Think the problem we're having with Norwood is he's so integral to how we play and operate that if he's not at the top of his game we don't play well as a team. It's a compliment but I feel we're relying on him too heavily at the minute.

Genuinely find it amazing some of the criticism he gets. No one is above it completely, but it’s been asked whether he’s toxic, he’s been blamed for a goal when he gave it away on the halfway line and now his passing is being called into question.

He’s given everything for this team and he’s central to the way we play. In fact, we are so high in the league because of how we play, which we changed to accommodate him.

Give me a player who misplaces the occasional pass but does what he does over the dross I’ve paid to watch in previous years any day

We used to have Monty and Doyle.

It was exactly the same with Duffy in his first season with some who just don’t seem to get your last paragraph.
