Controlled that game brilliantly. He swept everything up in front of the back four and his passing under pressure was awesome. Cool head, accurate, intelligant passing in both halves of the pitch and the ball in for the goal was sublime, what a player.

Perfect example of who Wilder can bring in when given the financial support. Norwood and Egan have been superb signings and a big reason for us kicking on this season. Looks like Dowell is going to be a good reserve for Duffy and Madine gives us a different option up front. If there's one more to come in I feel a pacey wide man will complete the jigsaw puzzle.

I know I've not been unstinting in my praise of Norwood since he arrived but fuck me, sat in front of me today was a bloke who thought Norwood's sole job was the stand exactly where this chap demanded at every opportunity.

He was too deep, he should stand in the middle, he should run forward, he should teleport the ball beyond the three QPR players and the spot where it should be. It was never-ending.

It should have been crossed first time about 15 seconds before we scored, too.

Another good deep cross for the goal. I'd never discourage him from putting them in because he's very good at them and we've got goals from it.

Should've asked Madine to chin him....

I know some people will demand that they're entitled to their say about Norwood, but look where we are, second in the Championship. Usually at this time we've begun to fade, but we seem to have found the necessary grit that gives us the edge over teams who we once gifted points to. Norwood made the goal, and it's this quality that is enabling us to win where we once folded.

Moan all you want, but when you've finished complaining look at the league table, take a look at McGoldrick, in on a freebie and now with 10 goals, and if results like today don't convince even the most hardened cynic that we're in with a great chance of a play-off place, or even securing an automatic place (can't believe I'm saying that with 19 games to go) then I've no idea what it'll take to let any Blade know that under Chris Wilder we're doing superbly well. We are a lesson in how to bring in unrated players, give them the right coaching and management, and show that we're capable of playing with quality and guts. UTMB!

Whipped a terrible ball over the top, found himself in a similar position a few minutes later and puts in a beauty for McGoldrick. Doesn't go hiding and has that quality in him that can unlock an opponent in an instance.

He was class today. Fantastic cross for the goal and even better early on when he played the long diagonal ball to setup the chance for Goldy.

Fantastic signing - one of the best in years.

Needs to learn how to tackle though....... I know that’s not his primary role but he'll either give an important goal way or get sent off before the end of the season if he carries on how he is. We can all improve......

He's statically the most creative midfielder in the division isn't he ?

Wish fleck would step up a bit ,will need replacing if he doesn't

I love Ollie, but I do wish he could cut out that penchant for giving the ball away in dangerous areas. That ball to Billy was superb, I just couldn't understand why our record breaking marksman didn't try to volley it in.
