Ticket offer for great cause
Posted on: Mon 25 Feb 2008

The Blades have teamed up with Stand Sponsors Westfield Health to support Sheffield based charity Neurocare.

Two thousand tickets for the United v Norwich City match on Saturday 15th March 2008 are being offered to fans who are registered Blood Donors, or who are listed on the NHS Organ Donor Register, at a special price of £5. The seats will be located in the Westfield Health Stand or adjacent to it.

Donors can claim their discounted ticket for the match by simply bringing along their Blood Donor or NHS Organ Donor cards to the Sheffield United Box Office.

The game is also designated as 'Quid a Kid' so any donors wanting to bring under 16s can get them tickets for just £1. Tickets are strictly limited to 2,000 so donors are urged to get their tickets soon.

It is hoped that the offer will reward blood donors and those who have signed up to the NHS Organ Donor Register, as well as encourage people to get involved and become donors.

I can get someone a ticket if they want with my blood donor card

Just let me know :)

I am regular blood donator anyway, but maybe if the offer was a few pints of beer after donating a pint of blood in the ground I would be first in line.

:D:D:D

Stinky, I may have to take you up on that offer, my workmate who's a Norwich supporter wants to go to the game. I assume it's one ticket per donor if there are only 2000 tickets available?

I know football is getting expensive but I never thought a ticket for the Blades would have cost an arm and a leg! ;)

But surely if your a regular blood donor then you should have a card

I've got a Doner Card.

In the event of my tragic demise, anyone can help themselves to my kebab.
