Krul also scribbled the names of penalty takers onto his water bottle along with which direction they were most likely to shoot. Thought that was quite ingenious, personally.

Good idea, it would be funny if he forgot whose left and right he meant and dived the wrong way for every penalty.

With the 2 he saved I think my mum might have managed to save them though.

Baldock Norwood Fleck Freeman Stevens

How have you set the midfield 3 up? I personally don't think having Norwood anywhere but the holding role would work as it's such a big part of the way we play. 2 left footers also wouldn't work with the overloads we create as it's difficult for a left footer to hug the right touchline without wanting to come inside all the time.

Away win. The stop/start nature of the last few weeks, the pressure of all the Europe chat and (dare I say it) JTW have taken the wind from our sails.

And before it starts, this is the first time this season I've any expectation of a defeat at home.

Note to Wilder
If we meet them in the semis and it goes to pens, make sure one of our players picks up his water bottle and throws it into the crowd.

Well i just write it out as a midfield five but obviously two wing backs and Norwood slightly deeper. I know what your saying with the lefty's but its harsh on Fleck or Freeman missing out every game?

Yep, I think Freeman deserves more of a chance but Wilder won't play square pegs in round holes and that's what a lefty would be. I think he'd even rather play Enda as a LCB if JOC was injured than have to put a right footer there in Retsos.

It’s difficult to tell whether or not you’ll like it until you’ve read it though.
It's a generalisation. I've never read Mills and Boon books but I know I wouldn't likee them.

Obligatory mention of Sheffield Wednesday even if the subject matter has nothing to do with them. ✔

Tedious talk of attendances or the size of certain football clubs. ✔

Accuse fellow Blades of being Sheffield Wednesday fans. ✔

Full house again.

It sounds like you have previous with Tony.

They beat Leicester last Friday as well.
Yeah, I watched it. I thought Leicester wasted a lot of good opportunities, particularly in the first half. Great goal though from Norwich.

Watched them last night for all but the first 10 minutes (gave the Pigs/Man C a go but realised it had no interest if it was just going to be attack v defence) and they were easily the better side. Having said that Spurs were really poor.

Being in the Westfield, there's one thing that will piss me off if we lose.

That stupid german doing those stupid hand raises to the oles!!!

Norwich will be tough. Very tough. They're not a bad side.... They have had a couple of cracking results to give them momentum and belief... If we don't match up we have every chance of losing..... Wilder knows and he will be drilling this into the players...

Expecting a tight game as they all have with them in recent times , I don’t think there last 2 results will change things . There are no push overs or easy wins in this league as the table shows

Their mini revival is quite concerning. It’s like watching Brazil all over again....Bless their little “carrot crunching” hearts.

Sorry, but I just don't share the anxiety that some have over this fixture.

I think we will take them to the cleaners.

Isn’t there some kind of pattern in football, whereby out of the ordinary results, aren’t often followed up by another good result.

So, beating Leicester and Spurs doesn’t necessarily mean they’ve cracked it now...

Good chance this is the last home game this season (and maybe well into next) where fans are going to be present, so let’s make the most of it.

Might mean it’s going to be the last time we get to see one or two players in a Blades shirt in the flesh full stop.
