Norwich fans talking shit

I’d Rather us and Leeds went up than Norwich.

Both us and Leeds would bring something different to the Premier League, we would bring a unique tactical style and The best English manager working in the game today, Leeds would bring one of the worlds great football coachers and thinkers to the top division for the first time.

Norwich would just be another meh! team with meh! Fans and and a meh! European mangager, another Fulham or Huddersfield.. yawn.

I want us and Norwich up. Why Norwich? Because Norwich will be too soft as in the PL and their defence is awful. They'll no doubt try and sign more players from the Bundesliga, but they'll not have the budget, pulling power, or a Manager of international recognition that Leeds will. If we go up with Norwich then I think that's one team for starters that we can finish above. Leeds, on the other hand, are for the reasons I've said, are a totally different proposition.

To be honest all three of top the teams ended last season in mid table obscurity. So why would anybody expect us to fade away before Leeds or Naaarwich?

You ought to try living here.

All they talk about is who's going up with them. Absolutely baffles them when you have the sheer audacity to point out that they might still lose out, the arrogance is unreal.

"I'd love to see Farke and Bielsa taking it to the Prem... Chris Wilder, not so much. But ultimately you get no extra points for being fashionable or aesthetically pleasing, and they're proving a very difficult stain to shift. Gotta give them credit for that."

Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Another football fan who knows nothing about football. Has he not heard the countless pundits saying we are the most exciting team in the league? In terms of how TV see things, we are certainty a lot more "fashionable" than Norwich.

When you have zero football knowledge it's all about lazy perceptions isn't it.

Ultimately, the annoying thing from our perspective is that, since that WBA home defeat we're 10-4-1, with 11 clean sheets. That's an amazing record in this division and it still doesn't have us top 2.

I'm just totally stunned that people can have so little knowledge about their promotion rivals. I can maybe forgive not knowing how the lower half of the table plays but surely he watches the highlights of our games that come on straight after theirs and then hears the pundits talk about the football we play?

That said Darren Eadie said we were a long ball side and he's a Norwich fan so maybe they all just watch re-runs of Match Of The Day from 1992.

Is that a Leeds fan in there with them? Cringey circle jerk.

I don't really buy the idea that fans of a different club being able to have a discussion about the outcome of the season and recognising that they have a mutual interest in us losing is so cringe-worthy. One of the potential benefits of the internet is being able to discuss the season rather than just shouting insults at each other.

In truth, one of the interesting components of this season is that the top three all play decent football and none of us are massive spenders. I desperately hope we go up but the top 3 are three best sides by a distance, and I hope they end up as the three in the Prem.

Obvious that others try to paint us a physical long ball team but its crap, though we do go longer the minute Madine is on the pitch, all three are playing football and winning while they do it.

They’re not re-runs. In Norfolk, it is 1992.

I'm not against it in principle. But in reality that conversation was a cringey circle jerk. The sense of entitlement from Leeds fans this season has been astounding and it would be hilarious if they failed to get promotion purely for that reason.

Honestly, I couldn't even name you 5 of Norwich and Leeds regular starting lineup, I don't watch any domestic football outside of the Blades games and the odd 30 mins of PL matches if I'm flicking through channels. I know why they think as they do as that is what they've been conditioned to think.

Leeds and Norwich have simply replicated what Huddersfield did and signed/loaned loads of players from Europe. Between them they have about 5 British/Irish players.

If they both get promoted I'm sure everyone will consider this as a good way to get promotion. Us getting promoted is about more than just the promotion itself, it's the way in which the manager and players have applied themselves, stuck to their beliefs where appropriate but then also learned from past mistakes (i.e. last January) in order to improve.

All this against a backdrop of being written off as 'organised try hards' by all but those who actually see our games on a regular basis.

That Weeds fan's a bit of a wanker

"They are doing something right and they will try and park the bus at ours and try to do us with a set piece. If they want to play their high uptempo game against us then they will get carved apart. I fancy this being like us against West Brom."

Reyt

A bit like we parked the bus against them last season
Their blistering start soon came to a shuddering end when they met us

But you're not on here making confident posts about how Leeds and Norwich play.

Correct, I’d hazard a guess at “time wasting, overpaid foreigners” at Norwich and “dirty bastards evoking the memory of Billy Bremner” for Leeds.

Did there efforts on goal include goal-kicks and goalie drop-kicks? Most of them were just as effective - so why not?

Boring boring boring

I wonder if anybody outside of their fans really want Norwich back in the Premiership so soon? Such a pointless promotion. They're just going to replace Fulham as that team you forget are in the Premiership. They're going to add absolutely nothing but dated goal music and flags to an ever increasing dull plastic league.
