As if it is not off putting enough to know that we are going to get beat by a team that is on the verge of extinction, does not have a ground and have to play in another town. Not to mention our first choice keeper missing, best striker away and the game being on Sky TV. Swallowing prides and getting ready for the embarassment of playing a team that had 10 points deducted but have more points than us. On top of all this the trains are gash. A 3 and a half hour journey from Sheffield, involving 2 (or 3) trains and one bus!? No better guin from Donny.

If anybody is guin by train a potential option is to get the direct train from Sheffield to Wellingborough. It's 9 miles from Wellingborough to Northampton, so I reckon a taxi will be about 20 quid. If anyone is planning this and wants to share a taxi, then lett me know. Me n moDtheGod will be arriving in Wellingborough at 12ish and getting a taxi across.

Regardless of the above, where are people boozing? I was thinking of this place http://maltshoveltavern.com/ It looks like Sixfields is a bit of out of town and there don't seem to be abny decent pubs around. The town centre has plenty of ale houses that look decent mind. The Wig and Pen (also in town) looks a decent shout as well. With the ground being 30 mins walk from town, then that means another taxi. However if there are a few Blades in there then we could possibly share.

We're going, but that pub is 2 miles from the ground. Think we'll slum it and try the Sixfields Hungry Horse and if they don't allow us in there are a couple of pubs in the Duston area.

I was thinking either the Squirrels or the Melbourne in Duston, neither of which are on this list, both about a mile from the ground.

Only going due to it being a new ground, sad but true.

On the football ground guide website it says you cannot pay in advance for tickets, so presume this will be the case for their B team.

Terrible. But would you travel to Macclesfield to watch us if we had an equivalent debacle? 35 miles, different county, what a mess. They had a shocking attendence of around 1.7k vs Colchester and it has only been bumped up to over 2k when they have played teams not far away or that have brought a few fans like Brentford, Preston, Gillngham and Bristol. With this being on Sky, I wonder if more Sky Blue fans will stay in Warwickshire. When I bought my tickets the ticket office said we had sold more than 600 tickets, so we might bump their attendence up.

On top of all the above, Coventry have been pretty good at 'home' so far. They are scoring goals and that ex Piggy tosser is on fire. He's bound to score.
