Disagree. He’s nowhere near the level need for us now, and needs games at a better level first. This is a good move for him, gives him the opportunity to potentially play regularly.

Although It’s worth considering that we have a maximum of 25 squad players, except U21 players who don’t count. RND was one of the few U21 players who could have provided ‘extra cover’ in case of an injury crisis. Think only Tyler Smith and Regan Slater now qualify and have some form of 1st team experience.

Could mean that we're close to signing a new left wing back? Wilder likes to make a lot of substitutions in the first pre season games, so although I reckon the plan was to loan out RND this season, we have no natural backup for Stevens at the moment.

The great Chris Hussey, 2016-17 League 1 winners medal holder? Think we got him from Bury. Matt Done I believed played left-back initially for Rochdale before being moved up top. If he’s since had to be moved back to defence it might explain why they’ve brought in RND.

The great Hussey - in with a shout for the most influential player in Sheffield United history.

Imagine being so utterly pitiful in your fleeting appearances you force the manger to adopt a tactic he’s literally never played beforehand, then the team proceeds to basically dispatch all comers for three years and end in the PL.

He needs games, and won’t get that with us this season. This is a really good loan for him, and let’s see where he is in the summer. I imagine a few more eye-catching moments like that and he’ll be called into a senior Wales squad for a friendly or two in the next year.
