Thought he’d go higher than that but fair play to him - at least he’ll be getting 90 mins.

Should get good experience and looks a real talent

Evans, Heneghan, Carruthers, Holmes, Lavery. Thomas, Graham, Slater, Semple, Smith, Norrington-Davies and Gilmour all out on loan.
Does anyone know if this is a club record?

Silent Blade ??

Probably.
Fun fact.... Mick Harmston was the first Blade player to go out on loan when he went to Southend in December 1970. Played only one game for them.
Gary Jones was the first player to join us on loan. We signed him from Bolton in February 1975, he played only 3 games for us and his goal at Carlisle was his debut for us.

We've become a 5% either way club.
In the Championship. Doing OK. But we can't afford the big money, different level signing. So, we have to look for players just a bit better than what we've already got. Players just 5% better. But, it ain't easy. Small margins. We don't always get it right. So we end up with a large pool of players 5% either way. Some, a lot, of those have to go out on loan. While we look for the next plus five percenter.
I don't mean that to sound judgemental. That's just where we are at the moment. I'm comfortable with that.

It's a record that we have too much money tied up in crap players.

Bit harsh that IMHO, given that the majority are young academy lads starting their careers.

I suppose if the 'crap players' are out on loan, at least they won't get booed by some of our crap 'supporters'.

And another - this time to Rochdale for a season.

This may mean Wilder is confident he will bring in a second LWB as he was currently the only other player in that position behind Stevens.

Good move for him. I assume Rochdale still play decent football. Should help him develop.

That’s an excellent move for RND, had been expecting a lower table League 2 move at the most. League 1 will be a great test for him.

Rochdale have apparently struggled in that position in recent seasons, so hopefully he’s got a good chance of playing regularly.

Was it rochdale we signed that left back from in Wilders first year. Can’t remember his name to check.

The great Chris Hussey, 2016-17 League 1 winners medal holder? Think we got him from Bury. Matt Done I believed played left-back initially for Rochdale before being moved up top. If he’s since had to be moved back to defence it might explain why they’ve brought in RND.
