anyone else see it as just a minor setback. A bit off the pace but generally Dowell did well, Madine did well, O Connell played well but rest a bit off the pace.

Leeds lost to Stoke today so it shows no matter how good the team is you always gunna get a bad result occasionally.

We tend to bounce back anyway, onwards and upwards!!!

I know where your coming from and understand the points.. but...

....It’s a rotten time to turn in that sort of dog of a performance though, right at the beginning of the toughest, most important run of games of the season and it will have given enormous encouragement to our promotional rivals, particularly Norwich who we play next week.

Nope. Season over.

I am down with the non meltdown.

We were off the pace today and it does happen sometime.

Well done Swansea . they worked hard and pulled our midfield all over the place and it is why we lost.

Not nice to hear or accept but they were box to box and we were not.

Agree thought we were solid, professional and in general control.

Swansea were quite poor, then once they scored the whole match changed.
Swansea upped their game and actually looked quite good, so they deserve credit.
We still had chances and could have won.....now we move on and look to bounce back away at Norwich.

absolutely - we weren't far away with this game and it shows the league for what it has been for a few years now.

We just need to dust down, regroup and go again next week.

spot on - they had a purple 15 minutes patch - that's about it.

We move on - and what a game to do it next week.

I don’t think it’s the result so much as the meekness of the performance that has upset so many..

...look we are vastly above were we ought to be on our budget and if we were building season upon season we would be in a great position. But with what is happening behind the scenes and whats likely to happen in the summer it leaves you with the thought that if we don’t take this opportunity to go up we may be waiting a long long time before we get another, I think that is why people are so frustrated.

Anyway that’s my opinion but I’ve just started my third bottle of Saltaire Cascade so it may be the beer talking.

it's the fact they were there for the taking first half. We didn't capitalise on it.A top 2 side would have. Norwich away will be much harder, so it's looking like the playoffs. Still a fantastic achievement by this side, but our record in the finals speak for themselves

We played well first half. They played better than us second half. They took their chance better than we did. I've not had a chance see everything from 5 or 6 angles on TV though

I think if we were ever going to break that play off curse it was whilst we were in the lower leagues playing teams we really should be beating.

Big ask to do it in the “worlds most valuable game” as Sky like to call it.

I think it is autos or no promotion, and that doesn’t take away the phenomenal feat Of CW if he gets us into them.

A substantial part of our game is cannily obstructing - and occasionally hauling down - nippy youngsters as they charge up the pitch and get all excited about possibly scoring.

Enda, George, and Ollie all picked up relatively early bookings and we had to let them run past us the rest of the game which really favoured them.

What stuck out the most was that Swansea were quickest to the 2nd ball more blantantly in the 2nd half. Perhaps the two missed chances by fatlad and Mcgolddick gave them Hope......it's near Castleton UTB

Completely agree with op

Was a poor performance esp 2nd half
If sharp /goodie take there chances first half it could have been a fine win

We had won 4 on the bounce and as someone said we haven't won 5 in a row in this league for years

Take today on the chin , move on and come back stronger for a huge game next week

also felt Swansea played well and deserved there win so fair play to them

Then its no promotion, as I cannot see us winning the required amount of games for the autos, 40 points from 18 games I would think?

12 wins & 4 draws only allows for 2 defeats to get to 40, its not realistic whether we get something next week or not!

It was pony. I’m not crying. There were few positives. Norwich is a ‘must not lose’ performance.

Yep bad day at the office, made worse by the fact if we had been on it we would have been out of sight by half time. We are not the only team at the top end to lose today, plenty of points still to play for.

It could be playoffs, we could end up winning the league. It’s so tight at the moment owt could happen. One loss will not end the season.
