Not seen another thread about it, but today is non-league day with some good offers for United season ticket holders.

Frickley v Skelmersdale £1 to get in with United season ticket
Stocksbridge v Carlton Town £5 with United st
Handsworth Parrarmore v Nostell MW - pay what you want (they currently play at Worksop Town's ground)
Rossington v AFC Blackpool FA Vase - £2.50 with United st or membership

Best to double check with respective websites just to make sure I've got the deals correct!

I didn't make it to a non-league game, but I did take in an international friendly. Singapore v Papua New Guinea, no less.

154th in the world, versus 199th (out of 208 teams in the FIFA Rankings in total). No fairy tale, as the higher ranked team won 2-1. Tickets for me and the lad were Sing$ 15 - about seven quid - and the crowd was probably around a thousand.

Standard's not great, but it's a night out at the football. We'll be back on Tuesday for the clash with Hong Kong...

Glory hunter! ;)

BornOnShoreham I wish I could be!

Easy pick out here would have been Steve Kean's team - won the league cup, and closing on in on the league and FA cup treble. But instead we've hooked up with Tanjong Pagar Utd - third bottom, and little in the way of overseas 'marquee' players. But they're our local club, and play in red & white stripes.how could we resist? Wouldn't feel right supporting anyone but an underdog.

You've found your second home in football terms then? Good for you.:)
