Just a big thank you to the "fans" of both sides who decided to have a punch up at the top of St Mary's road right in the middle of a number of family's who had clearly come out of John St, I wonder which element of that you are most proud of? knocking the old grandad which a stick into the wall next to the subway or terrifying a girl aged about 8 in to tears? Or whoever started the 'he'll shag who wants chant"

Well done everyone.

I'd also like to say well done to the Police who want to line Shoreham Street in riot gear on the way out but did not have one single officer on the way in whilst all the early 6 fingered drinkers were pissing in every door way on the way to the ground. Feel sorry for those who own or rent those premises when they turn up Monday and find it stinking of Barnsley urine.

Today really brought the inner twat out in a lot of people, how on earth can people get so pissed before a lunchtime kick off?

To ease the pain of watching the football on show I would have thought . Pays your money , and I am tea total .

Idiots, they'll no doubt say that they only fight like-minded people.

I suppose if the Wall of Steel wasn't up, then any trouble will justify the Feds bringing it back next season.

Like you say, well done everyone!

was a bit surprised to see Barnsley fans at all when we went out.. reckless by police

Yes what was the point of kicking off early only to let two viciously oposing sets of fans out at the same time and take the same route into the city centre? The police were stood around on Shoreham Street watching the taunting but only got between the fans when the kicks and punches started being exchanged.

Met family from Barnsley at 9.10 this morning at Train Station to be told that some o't lads ad started on't ale befoer they'd gorrin to Shef. Glad I spent my day at om then. S'pose it all depends if you are a knobhead and can handle alcohol. Looking at our present air conditioning engineers and tarpaulin recovery contractors they are as neanderthal as their six fingered cousins.

And may I give a big mention to the knob who was sat in the South Stand. He very kindly sent his fucktard of a child with his mate onto the back row where they could play their crinkly bottle game as well as the 'kick the fuck out of the seat in front' game to make as much annoying noise as possible. I am sure said knob enjoyed the game without any distractions. When a pensioner politely asked the kids to stop, the knob proceeded to threaten to cave in the pensioners head.

And by the way, I was there with my fucktards but I know how to make them behave.

South Yorkshire police ,just a joke. Whoever is in charge of this continuous calamity should really be looking at themselves.
I get where you're coming from but for me the blame lies with the morons who instigate this sort of thing.

Absolute brain dead cretins rvery single one of them. I dont't know what they're thinking or who they think they represent but if it was up to me I'd lock the lot up and throw away the key.

When they're shouting the odds and running up and down the road waving their arms about, maybe throwing the odd punch or kick do they actually think they're impressing someone?

Do they think they look good and everybody is willing them on because they fighting in their own particular clubs name?

Seriously are they that thick that they don't see what an absolute embarrassing joke they are?

All football clubs have a minority of dickhead fans but we have too many. You can't blame the police. they're at work, trying to do a job. We need to police this ourselves.

Not blaming the coppers on the frontline ,but the faceless pricks who organise it all. we are paying for their incompetence from a couple of decades ago ,and they just aren't in touch with the whole situation. Talk to normal cops and they will agree.

A mate of mine is a copper and he went down from Durham this morning for the game! Will ask him how his day on the front line went!

Trouble is,those knobheads fighting each other will probably justify the massively over the top policing on show today..at least in the eyes of SYP..it must have cost an absolute fortune...good bit of overtime to be had it seems to me..lets class it as a high risk game and make it early kick off...it's a joke.

We had same problem on south stand, some neanderthals sat in front of us with there mate who usually only stays for 10 minutes after arriving 20 minutes late. Throwing abuse at adkins, lino and barnsley assistant. When United attacked they stood up so no one could see we told them to sit down and was met with abuse and threats of violence. So glad they aren't there every week. If had to sit with that in would definitely stop going. Sad to say it ruined my afternoon

What's up with holding them in for half hour/hour get most of the home crowd out of the way.
Who is organising them because they defiantly aren't in touch with what's happening.

I was certainly surprised to arrive on Bramall lane after walking past the church on my way from the Kop to find a sea of racist, taunting and aggressive Barnsley fans swarming down the road. What the fuck were SYP thinking by letting them out at the same time. All sorts of shit being thrown down into the underpass from the knobheads above. Plenty of scrapping in the street around The Nelson. Bloody joke.

I don't think you're allowed to hold away fans in any more are you? Legally like.

We were more than a little held in at Millwall, so it's either completely legal or we're prepping a lawsuit.

The lay of the land around Bramall Lane seems to completely befuddle the SYP. They don't get that putting up a steel wall by The Cricks does nothing but inconvenience fans. They don't get that letting everyone out at the same time, many of whom are setting off in the same direction, is a recipe for disaster. At what point do they think to consult the public and ask what they think is/isn't working?

People got spat on by Dingles yesterday. I think this can be avoided.

Exactly what I saw, however some of our Neanderthals had made there way there to join in as well.
