I know Van Dijk is quality, but in the two games I've watched this season (Leeds and Villa) he was fucking awful. He looked completely lost.

They did replace the wobbliest component tbf (Hector) and we cut through them at will in the first half. Just didn't take any of the chances.

Therefore according to my calculations, we will beat Liverpool 4-0.

Not so much around severity or the punishment but the way the media, in Liverpool's case has honed in on what the injury implies for their fortune.

In all the articles regarding United being 'figured out' or being in 'second season syndrome' I've read not a single pundit acknowledge the fact that:
1. Of our two top scorers last year, Mousset has been injured all year and McBurnie missed a large chunk of preseason.
2. Fleck, one of our more creative midfield outlets, has been on and off injured this season and will be until December.
3. Jack O'Connell has been carrying an injury and will miss most of the season.

If this were Salah out until Christmas, Mane having missed most of pre-season, Henderson missing so much and VVD out all together, you'd never hear the end of it.

As it's little old Sheffield United then it's just 3 or 4 players the pundits don't know so we'll.

I just wish they were more educated.

Most are rightly suggesting he's not actually dead, you know.

Others pointing out the same publication was happy to point out how an injury to a Man City player was depicted as a boost for Liverpool FC.

Being injured absolutely not funny and wish any player a speedy recovery. But as pointed out, the comments are quite dry.

I agree with much of your post but, to be fair, on MOTD2 Danny Murphy and Micah Richards were full of praise and support for CW and the team. Murphy said that our injuries had made a big difference, teams were now showing us a great deal of respect but with our manager and the squad we would be fine.
