I just don't see us gaining enough points this year to avoid the drop (hope I'm wrong) we just don't have enough quality to create chances and are massively inept when trying finish any of the few chances we are able to create, we look jaded and scared to attack teams compared to how we applied ourselves last season. I fully expect us to return to the championship but I think we have invested well enough to bounce straight back, unlike in previous top flight relegations and consequently gone on to sell the family jewels. Sander aside and a few insignificant / aging players should still be with us if we drop down unless massive fees come in which I doubt will happen. The likes of Brewster, Bogle, Lowe, Burke, Ramsdale, Mcburnie, Moose and others I have missed along with the old promotion stalwarts would have a massive impact in the championship in my opinion. We may have to be a yoyo team for a while until proper game changing investment arrives as we won't be able to establish ourselves in the premier league until this happens. Its obvious that the Prince needs help and does not have the financial clout to make a difference, for example we couldn't afford both a striker and decent cover for o'connell in the last window which has proven to be a major problem as Chris said today he is still searching in house to resolve the problem. Hope I'm wrong and we re-discover our form and no fear attitude of last season and go on to beat the drop but in reality on what i'm seeing I doubt that very much, we say its only 3 games in then 6 games in, 9 games in etc.
