Don't believe everything you heard about Hendos move. We did okay out of it.
Indeed. We got rid of the big clumsy fecker.

Does anybody know what's happening with Kennedy, Harriot and Chappell?
Hi
Kev Mac needs updating
Also, any chance you can add a section in the first post to show this summer signings? Worried I may miss someone joining when I'm not my holidays. Thanks
Updated with the new lads contract details...
Is Matty Harriott definitely out of contract and are there any moves to re-sign him?
He's been with the squad all pre-season, so I suspect it was announced incorrectly when he signed it, similar to Tel Kennedy
Will update when I've heard back.
Cheers Foxy, next question - I can't see Elliott Whitehouse on your list...
@f0xy - time for an update?
Been meaning to do it for a while, just not had a minute
Will get it changed later on.
Based on media and supporter speculation that would appear to be fairly accurate.
I cant think of a strong enough reason to keep any of the out of contract players. Other than perhaps McDonald I dont think you can justify the kind of wages most of them are probably on at this level. It represents an opportunity to start balancing the books and for rebuilding.
Looking at that list, the priorities for next season will be a wide player, a midfielder and two strikers. If we can keep the same defence together we have a good platform.
Updated Jordan Chappell who has signed a new 1 year deal and Chris Porter who has signed a new 2 year deal.
BUMP! Can we get this updated? Bits of talk about who's out of contract etc….I know Collins has extended
Creswell’s contract doesn’t expire this Summer. It was renegotiated with a view to him moving into coaching longer-term:-
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19426460
I still think it would be better for both parties if he took a free transfer to York and carried on playing there
There's nothing in that article about the length of Cresswell's contract. If he'd signed an extension I'd expect that would have been announced at the time - the change in contract terms looks to have been to change his status to player-coach.
The semi-reliable transfermarkt website says that he's contracted until June: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/richard-cresswell/leistungsdaten-detail/spieler_14002.html
"He's not going to move straight into a coaching role but the long-term goal is to have him work with the youngsters," said Wilson.
"Long-term" implies longer than 12 months to me.
I seem to remember 3 years being mentioned at the time but I might be wrong.
I hope that website is reliable because it says his transfer value is £225K ;-)
