Can someone explain the reason why a lot of times on Tuesday whenever a player was in a corner, holding the ball or looking for a killer pass the majority of the team apart from Freeman, JCR and Sharp doesn't go over to them they just expect the ball to come to them it seems like most of the players doesn't have the willingness to help the rest of the team.

It seemed to me they hit a point on Tuesday where they'd had a bad start, were shell shocked and just didn't want to be there. What you refer to is a classic example of the much talked about "hiding" with the few exceptions you mention.

Not taking responsibility , lack of confidence , leave to someone else . Bit like sunday football ( usually a struggling team ). Lots of issues for Adkins to sort out . If he cannot do it nobody can.

The more i look at it , the more this season may well be a transition period . If we make automatic , fantastic , if we make the playoffs great . If not we cannot go on blaming / changing managers . Its the players that want changing to a set , having the right mindset . If not this season , we will do it next .

Just got to stick with the fella Adkins , and be patient , and that alls well that ends well.

Agree. A number of times last season (in Clough's defence, lol) I made the point that it took Grayson, the most accomplished manager at this level, two seasons to get Preston up.
If Clough was as shit as his detractors claim then it's not reasonable to expect Adkins to sort it out instantly.
