I swear Phipps said stuff about wanting a slightly bigger squad though, although evidently not to size we ended up with, which still managed to be unbalanced somehow. Having barely any fit CBs yet buying Scougall II in Holt was a strange decision. Nothing against Holt, but he wasn't a priority.
