You’re probably right but I wasn’t understating the role he could play because I really like the look of him, I’m merely trying to understand why he’s come here when he played well at another club who are also challenging for promotion but they’ve been answered more than adequately.

It's probabaly also worth mentioning (if you didn't already know) that his form at Forrest dropped during the second half of the season - I suspect that there are a few reasons for this, but you'd have to assume a major 1 is the change in manager, which may have influenced his decision about this season's loan.

I'm not sure about you, but if I was a young footballer choosing a club the manager would be top on my list of questions - I heard a podcast recently with Neil Etheridge, the Cardiff keeper, where he explained that a major factor in picking them was Warncock, and how genuine and upfront he was - I'm sure it's a simalar story with Wilder too.

I noticed that he tracks back and puts a foot in. Reads the game well, is prepared to take people on and has an eye for a shot and free kick. The back heels could be a worry. I know TC used to play em but I just fear that a big ugly brute of a centre back might get a little cheesed off at being made to look like an incompetent and take him off at the knees.

Countless times this season we've seen our players facing the other way to a team mate in a great position but not being able to get the ball to him. Our players have to be able to anticipate it though, I'm sure they're working on it in training

He has fantastic spacial awareness and I love the way he works into making a back heel. Good turn of pace and I think will work very well in our system.

Would be awesome to fit both him and Duffy in the same team.

Could he replace Fleck when he's not performing perhaps?
