As you can probably tell I'm not a traditionalist! I'd be happy to take the Bradford/Barcelona route and regularly veer away from stripes as long as the colour scheme is kept (although Bradford's kit this year is, admittedly, an abomination).

Well I am still off work bored and in pain so I am going for it . I found a free piece of software that is a bit like an upgraded version of MS Paint, surprisingly it is called "Paint Net" and it is idiot proof and a bit easier to use and grasp. Never the less it is no Photoshop!

Still doesn't make you good at designing football kits though does it

No, I just wanted to see what flouncing was like. Try it for myself. It was a bit like getting fucked up the arse by a really hot, fit bird wearing a strap on. It seemed like an interesting idea at the time but I won't be doing it again in a hurry.

My brother had the diagonal stripe away shirt. Bought from the Sports shop that was on Bramall Lane. The diagonals were not printed on; they were separate strips of material sewn on. The stitching and the high polyester/nylon content material made it an itchy shirt to wear!!

I had one and I concur. Mine was long sleeved, but all that stitching across the body made it very uncomfortable. The shirt was classy though.
