With Anel and Souttar back I think that we have to go for it from the start and try and pick up two wins from 2 against Millwall and Plymouth.

Last few games we have started very slowly indeed and I hope that CW drills it into them that would have to come out of the blocks much faster and get on the front foot.

We have the team to take any team apart at any given moment and I am hoping to see a much Improved start against Millwall.

It is always a tough place to go but they have their injury problems and with the likes of JES and Campbell and One I am hoping we can get stuck right into them from the start.

The Plymouth game I am hoping we will be as professional as we were against Oxford where we were expected to win easy and I hope we put on a great display going into the Burnley game.

If we manage to pick up 6 points from the next two games it will give us a big boost going into the Burnley game which will undoubtedly be our biggest game of the season so far at home.

We have nothing to fear from anyone so long as we play to our strengths which is playing on the front foot and taking it to the opposition.

Nowt to worry about Millwall aren't that good and we will score at least 3 v Plymouth. 6 points this week.

Come on Lads, forget about cancelling Sky and the leaky roof and do it for Princeh.

Don't forget the Cardiff game as well. I would hope that we can get at least 7 more points on the board before we play Burnley

burnley game will be the half way mark game 23 and we all will have played 1 game v all the opposing sides,, no one can accuse anyone about having an easier run of fixtures

we have good options on the bench this season whereas last seasom our bench often looked like a school trip

Let's calm down. The next 2 games are no more or less important than any of the others.

Millwall will be tough.

We don't have a squad or team that can go all out attack and "go for it". The tactics we've used successfully so far, cleverly play to our strengths and minimise our weaknesses, no need to change them right now

What's the betting on Rooney getting the sack the day after we beat them?

The one factor you could feasibly argue is whether, in your first 23 fixtures, you happened to play a lot of lower table sides away, and mostly upper half of table sides at home. Meaning you have an easier first half of season than 2nd half. But it's pretty unlikely that any side happens to have that happen in such a skewed way

I thought the OP was a reference to a rival forum, which to my surprise seems to be still going.

There is that many games I completely forgot about the Cardiff game 🙈

Averaging 4 points every 2 games is always good no matter where you are in the league.

Putting the games (post last international break) in groups of 2, it looks something like this.

Coventry, Oxford: 4pts
Sunderland, WBA: 4pts
Millwall, Plymouth:
Cardiff, Burnley:

I posted in shoutbox at FT yesterday that drawing to WBA puts the pressure on us to beat Millwall, and part of me still thinks that is the case.

But if we keep averaging 4 points every 2 games it is ideal for the long push towards the end of the season.

I completely agree, we need a complete change from the sleepy start at WBA.
We are top and we should be imposing our game on opponents
It's hard work to stay top but it's easier than having to play catch-up
