As I was thinking about us all pounding away on our computers arguing over Robson, I switched to the TV Year in Review program to see all the folks dying of AIDS, malnutrition and other disasters I got to think how lucky we are just to have the time to spend on this stuff. I am a lifelong blades fan and I may moan about who plays and who misses goals but I have decided that I RESOLVE, win lose or draw, I will enjoy every minute of every game. Life is too short to be otherwise.
But really this was just an excuse to thank Linz, Foxy and Silverfox for putting this forum up and keeping it running. I loved the preseason photos that Linz took, the Prediction league and all the info that pops up. My only regret is that after a lucky run I can't figure out how to move up the Prediction league. As a true fan I can never predict that we will lose a game.
Imagine an old guy in his pyjamas, wearing a red and white shirt, sitting in front of a computer listening to Radio Sheffield early on Saturday morning. Got to be crazy. Although we pretend otherwise I guess that's the reason that we can never be truly realistic.
Anyway, many thanks to one and all. In your real lives I hope you all have a great New Year.
Come on the Blades!
