Robson is expected to announce more deals in the coming days and will release funds for his team strengthening by off-loading fringe players.

Striker Geoff Horsfield is wanted by both Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers and fellow forward Luton Shelton will also be allowed to leave.

id heard that warnock was looking at shelton again

Didnt really think much of it because i didnt think that robbo would let him leave

He's so frustrating. He's got great pace and great ability on the ball, but yet his finishing at times is awful and he seems to find it difficult to get involved. The game just passes him by a lot of the time.
It'd be a shame to sell him cos he's got such potential but I can't see him getting much of a look-in unless we get a spate of injuries.
So frustrating when you see someone single-handedly run the Man United backline ragged and then struggle against far inferior defences.

Hmm, I like Shelton and he is probably the only player we have left with electric pace but to be fair, Man U didn't really put out a particularly strong back 4 that day, did they?

Also, Shelton doesn't quite tick all of Robson's boxes if you know what I mean

Well no, it wasn't Man U's strongest defence. But to be fair, a back four of Fletcher, Evra, Brown and Heinze is better than most Premiership defences!

Pace isn't everything, otherwise we might as well get a load of 100m sprinters into the team. He can't shoot, simple as. How he managed to score more goals for Helsingborgs than Larsson is beyond me.

He actually got regular games rather than being brought on a sub in the 80th Minute or starting one game in 30.
If he played regular i'm sure he'd score lots of goals (same can be said for Stead & Sharp).

He can score and if anyone saw him earlier on this season in the cup alongside sharp he does actually have a good eye for goal. Maybe sending him out on loan may help rather than selling him and adding him to the pile of useless expensive strikers Warnock brought in.
