Just found this on the Channel 4 website. Sounds like the show for me.
"Channel 4 are delighted to announce their latest Saturday night prime time offering - GC88 Proves It!.
Following on in the footsteps of the great investigative journalist Roger Cooke and Donal Macyntire, GC88 sets out to prove the origins of the worlds biggest mysteries.
Having spent years proving that Rotherham United fans like nothing better than singing about a Night Out in Sheffield and uncovering the astonishing fact that Manchester United were lauding the footballing legend that is Bob Booker whilst he was still a nobody at Brentford, GC88 will set out on the path of discovery to uncover some of lifes greatest imponderables.
In the first episode he travels as far as Leeds to check out the clitoris. Was it invented by Tanya Arnold or Christa Ackroyd at last years Look North Christmas party and what part did Harry Gration have to play?
