There ya go from OS...........
Sheffield United are improving their ticketing system by introducing a swipe card initiative for the new season.
And new boss Bryan Robson has already given it the thumbs up as the Blades bounce back with the fan friendly scheme.
Following a successful pilot scheme, season ticket holders will be issued with a plastic "credit card" style ticket instead of the traditional bulky booklet.
The cards will also be used by regular visitors to Bramall Lane and provide simple ways to buy seats for games, gain quicker entry at the turnstiles and for the club to easily replace and cancel lost or stolen cards.
Queues at the ticket office, on the turnstile and over the phone will be drastically reduced because of the cards, which are already in use in stadia across the world.
Emma Wylie, ticket office manager at Sheffield United said: "We had a lot of feedback from supporters on the scheme which led to us piloting it at some home games last season. These were successful with queues reduced in many areas at the club. We believe this is a great step forward in improving facilities at Bramall Lane and our service to loyal fans."
Cards will be instantly activated for fixtures, saving unnecessary trips to the ticket office. On match days fans will be required to insert their card into an automated turnstile which will access information contained on the embedded electronic chip and allow entry.
The club has confirmed that all turnstile operators are being consulted with and are aiming to offer many with re-employment to other roles at Bramall Lane.
Regular match goers can add chosen games by contacting the Blades' ticket office or the club website. The adding of games to a swipe card will also apply to all season ticket and card holders wanting to purchase cup tickets next season.
Supporters will also be able to use the same card for subsequent seasons, if they keep the same seat, starting with the 2008/09 campaign where fans could be enjoying half-price Premiership football.
The Blades are offering the massive reduction for the following season to 25,000 fans - if they win an instant return to the top-flight. This will apply to all season tickets sold before the new campaign kicks-off in August.
Season tickets for the 2007/08 campaign currently start from £339 for adults and £219 for concessions - saving of £121 and £69 respectively on match ticket prices.
Junior Blades Under-16s can watch every home league game for £129 and Junior Blades Under-10s for just £59.
United are offering season ticket holders a bounce back half price season ticket if United go straight back to the Premiership. The half price offer means adult United fans could be watching Premier League football in 2008/09 for as little as £170.
